In the country side school of Lusul, there was a standard five boy calied Imbaga. Imbaga liked to
steal. He stole pencils rulers and exercise books from his classmates. At the end of each day his
classmates would complain to their class teacher about their missing items.

There is no one who comes from outside to our classroom who then could be taking our things?
They complained. The boy also stole from traders in the market and also from his parents at
home. He used the money to buy sweets, ice creams and chocolate. This habit had grown in him
day by day until one day when something terrible had happened. On that day the boy was
crossing the road. He saw an old lady removing money from her purse. As she was counting it, a
two hundred shilling note slipped and fell down on the pavement. The boy quickly stood on the
note, covering it with his two feet. When the lady had gone the boy quickly put the note in his
pocket. At night, the boy hid the note among other notes in the pillowcase. He had gathered
hundred of notes and his pillow felt lumpy and fat.

Boabab are found in Africa and Australia. They are among world largest trees. The trunk o¢ a baobab can
grow as big as 10 meters in a diameter. It cast a big shadow.

Boabab cook strange because of the way branches grow. They’re sometimes referred to ag upside down
trees because branches look more like roots than real branches. The explorer and missionary David
Livingstone describe them as big as a carrot planted wrong way. Its story goes like this;

Many years ago God called all the animals and people together and gave each something to plant. Some
planted yams while others planted fruit trees, cereals, vegetables and flowers until all the plants today had
been pianted. The last line was a hyena the most hated of all animals.

The hyena asked God for something to plant that would produce a lot of food to eat. He was told since he
arrived so late there was only one plant left baobab tree. The hyena was angry and so planted it up side
down.

Despite what the hyena thought the baobab does produce flowers and fruits. Its fruits have a cool taste
and greatly appreciated by monkeys. The fibre in its bark is tough and can be used to make ropes and bark
cloth.
