This product can be defined as : Approximate Concentration (%)
Polypropylene Copolymer 80
Inorganic Fillers 20
This Product is not hazardous to health as defined by European Union Dangerous Substances/
Preparations Directives set forth for green environment.

3. Hazards Identification
Critical hazards to man and the environment : None
Potential Health Effects :
Eye contact : Particulates may scratch eye surfaces and cause mechanical
irritation.
Skin contact : No hazard in normal industrial use.
Exposure to hot material may cause thermal burns.
Inhalation : Negligible hazard at ambient temperature.
Ingestion : No hazard in normal industrial use.

4. First Aid Measures

Inhalation : If overcome or affected, immediately remove victim from exposure
using proper respiratory protection. Administer artificial respiration
if breathing irregular or stopped. Keep at rest. Get medical attention.
Eye Contact : Flush eyes with large amounts of water until irritation subsides.
If irritation persists , get medical attention.
1
Skin Contact : Wash well with water.
Ingestion : If large amounts were taken, induce vomiting and get medical attention.

5. Fire Fighting Measures

Flash Point (ASTM D1929) : Not applicable

Autoignition Temperature : Not applicable
Flammable or Explosive Limit( Dusts, approximate percent by volume in air ) :
Not applicable
Extinguish Media and Fire Fighting Procedures
‧ Low hazard.
‧ Use water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel.
Shut off “fuel ” to fire.
‧ Extinguish the fire by water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical or
foam.
‧ Firefighters should use self-contained breathing apparatus.
Decomposition Products under Fire Conditions
Thermal decomposition may produce toxic fumes and vapors.

6. Accidental Release Measures

General information : Use proper personal protective equipment as indicated in sections 8.

Steps to be taken in case material is released or spilled : Sweep or collect into containers or
bags.

7. Handling and Storage

Handling : A static electrical charge can potentially build up when handling this material.
Static discharge could pose a dust explosion hazard. All equipment should be
grounded and bonded to prevent possible dust explosions.
Storage : Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from heat and sources of ignition.

8. Exposure Controls and Personal Protection

Exposure Controls :
Local exhaust ventilation of process equipment may be needed to control particulate
exposures to below the recommended exposure limit (see below).
Workplace Exposure Guidelines : OSHA REGULATION 29CFR1910.1000 demands that the
permissible exposure limits should be 5 mg/m³ (respiration dust), and 15 mg/m³ (total dust)
based on the OSHA PEL for nuisance dust.

.
2
Threshold Exposure Limits : The ACGIH recommends
a TWA of 10 mg/m³ for inhalation particulate (total dust) and a TWA of 3 mg/m³
for respiration particulate (total dust) for particulates not otherwise classified (PNOC).
Personal Protection :
For open systems where contact is likely, wear safety glasses with side shields. Where
contact may occur with hot materials, wear thermal resistant gloves, arm protection and
a face shield. Where overexposure by inhalation may occur and engineering, work
practice or other means of exposure reduction are not adequate, approved respirators
may be necessary.
