TITLE: 2024 SCHOOL-BASED IN-SERVICE TRAINING

I. RATIONALE
INSET refers to a modality of professional development intervention organized at the school
(school-based INSET) to address and resolve areas of need identified by the teachers or school leaders to
continuously improve their competencies.
As such, the need for an in-service training plays an essential role in successful education reform. It
also serves as a bridge between prospective and experienced educators to meet the new challenges of
guiding learners towards higher standards of learning and self-development.

II. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION


This training will commence FOUR (4) days in a school-based setting. Throughout the four-day
training, the teaching and non-teaching staff shall be in school to insure their focused attention to the
training inputs.
This training will focus on the Policy guidelines on the implementation of the comprehensive
sexuality education, Child rights policy, Enhancement of literacy and numeracy skills, DEPED child
protection policy, Microsoft 365 productivity and Silvertek online forum registration.
III. OBJECTIVES:
The main purpose of this training is to initiate a process of improvement in school and its staff, to
give necessary knowledge or attitude to enable them to carry out their responsibilities and more demanding
roles for more effective job performance. And also, to encourage them to do more paperless activities using
Silvertek system.
IV. LOGISTICAL AND BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:

Target participants: 8 teaching and 2 non-teaching personnel of Bandera ES

Venue: Bandera ES Staff/Conference room

office as mode of verification.
