This is the Character Creation Development Document for BNS Apocalypse.

By completing this
document, you will earn 5 Experience Points that can only be spent on the character used in this
document. An additional 5 XP is available to those characters who wish to provide answers to the Extra
Credit questions.

This document is designed to help the player and the Storytellers flesh out the character, filling in
background information and possible plot notes. It may be completed for XP only once per character,
though players are encouraged to update this document as their character evolves across the chronicle.

This summary is not a character background. This is a primer in order to help players start a
background.

Where do you come from?

4) Where and when was your character born? When did you go through the First Change?
~Born in Orlando, FL on February 1st of 1989, Lyzander went through first change on his 18th
birthday, February 1st, 2007.
5) What did your character do before the First Change? Do you have a job? Mortal ID? Bank
Account?
~For the most part my character had been going to public school. He was really into art and
learned about tattoos from an older adopted cousin who was interested in his art. Close to the
age of 10, he began looking into tattoos, tattooing and how his artistry could benefit from it.
Curiosity drove him to ‘borrow’ a tattoo gun from his cousin at the age of 14 and of course, he
started with himself. A small ‘X’ tattoo on his upper thigh is a reminder of that time. Afterward,
he helped give the local neighborhood teens small tattoos and would hang out more and more
at his cousin’s tattoo shop. Then he got a job with them at 18, after he changed.

8) Describe all the events around your First Change.
~Late night after a party for his birthday, Lyzander was going home and taking a shortcut
through an abandoned construction area. A couple of wannabe gang members tried to rob him
 and Lyzander was not willing to give up his new gift, a brand new video game console. The
anger boiled over and he changed, turning into a big werewolf. Before they could shoot him, he
mauled the two of them, clawing into them and making their new lifeless bodies
unrecognizable. Afterward, he ran until he got home and hid in his house for days. He drew
what had happened over and over again until he told his cousin what he was. His adopted
cousin understood, being a kinfolk of the Black Fury and he explained everything. He got a job
with his cousin until his cousin died in a drive by shooting a year and a half later. Lyzander left
then.
9) What brought your character to Bloomington? Why do they want to stay?
~Near a college town with lots of people moving about. Possible good new business
opportunity.

What are your holdings?

character is known by his true identity.

~My character has spent 13 years travelling and working as a tattoo artist in various places,
collecting his money and saving stuff here and there.

exhibits the various qualities assigned to it. If your character does not have the Shelter
background, where does he sleep?
~Currently he is moving to Bloomington and will stay in a hotel until he finds a place.
13) Does your character have the Ancestors background? Who were they?
~No

specialization and how they interact with your character. If your character does not have these
backgrounds, how does your character interact with the mortal world?
~He is a tattoo artist and geek. He enjoys various conventions of both interests and uses his
money if he needs something.
15) What is your character’s most prized possession? Why this one?
~Eisenhower coin, belonged to his cousin, takes it with him everyhere.
16) Does your character have the Fetish background? What is it/are they?
~no

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

17) What does your character excel at? Provide an example.

~Tattoos and Geeky knowledge. Enjoys going to geek flavored trivia nights and video game,
anime and other fandom conventions.
 18) Provide an example of a personal failure from your character’s history.
~Ended up in a fight with another garou and if he had won, he wouldn’t have to leave the city
that he claimed as territory. Not only did he lose, he lost his left eye to the ordeal.
19) What are your character’s greatest joys and loves?
~Stories in general, especially fantastical ones. He also loves meeting people who enjoys the
fandoms he does and loves doing those types of tattoos.
20) What are your character’s greatest fears?
~While he meets people and enjoys the community, he fears getting to close too someone and
letting them down. He feels he let his cousin and adopted family down by not being able to
prevent his death.
21) What was your character’s most embarrassing moment?
~When he put the tattoo on his thigh. He passed out from the blood loss after doing it in front
of his family and he ended up in the hospital for his blood transfusion. The family found his
tattoo and blamed his cousin though he tried to tell him that his cousin didn’t do it. The tattoo
is a faint, upside down smiley face.
22) How does your character react to stressful situations?
~He tries to think about what is going on logically. If he has to just straight deal with it, then he
will find a drink and a video game of some kind, preferably fighting, and will sit for hours and
play.

What do you do?

23) What sort of plots and conflict are you looking to take part in with this character? (Puzzles,
Investigation, Social Plot, Political Plot, PvE or PvP Physical Conflict, etc.)
~All kinds, but mostly Puzzles and Social though I do not mind other plots.
24) What are your character’s goals? How will you include others in accomplishing these goals?
~One is to make the tribal weapon of every tribe and fera. Another is to one day make a famous
named Klaive.

5 Extra Credit XP:

25) What is your character’s darkest secret? (1 XP, if it can come back to haunt the character)
~My character doesn’t know about his biological family. His mother was a Fianna werewolf
named Fiona Iglesias and his father a kinfolk named Pablo Iglesias. However, his mother ended
up walking the Spiral and his father feared for his young son’s life so he gave him to the state
before anything could happen. His mother killed his father for getting rid of her son. His cousin
had found out about his story before he passed.

~None yet.
27) Do you agree to have an NPC know this secret for use in plot at some later point? If so, how
would the NPC have become aware of this secret? (2 XP, if Yes and how known)
~Yes…and if they came across Fiona in her travels. Unbeknownst to Lyzander, Fiona has been
searching for him everywhere and had gotten close but never came across him because her
being a Dancer kept her out of any Garou circles that might have known him.
