Sending Bulk SMS using

Hubtel
Log on to hubtel.com
Then move to SMS and Money
Go to send new message
Enter phones numbers beginning with 233 to
replace the 0 like in the image below
To add 233 to phone numbers in excel,
1. Enter all the numbers in one column
2. Move to the next column by the numbers
3. Enter the formula to add the 233 to the numbers
4. The formula is =CONCATENATE(233,A1)
where A1 is the cell with the first number
Move the mouse to this point - to
this bottom right corner of the cell
you have worked on.
Click and drag the mouse to the end your numbers
or double click on the point shown earlier to
automatically populate the rest of the columns
Copy the numbers with the 233 now
Paste the copied numbers in the “Enter your mobile numbers manually section”
Tap on continue once you have your number now pasted and populated
If numbers are already saved in excel with the 233 already by the numbers, you can then import the numbers
with the second option – Import mobile numbers from XLSX by tapping on the space arrowed to take you into
the directory where you have saved your contacts on your pc.

After that, you tap on the continue tab to move to the next stage.
The next stage is where you type your message.
After that you hit continue.
You have the Message name – which will be the way you want to save your sms for archive sake.
Then you have the SMS Sender Name – which is the name which appears on the recipient's phone
instead of your phone number.
Tap on the plus sign arrowed, to choose your sender name which will take a maximum of 20mins or
less for approval to use.
You choose when you want to send the sms as well - arrowed below.
After choosing and approval of your Sender Name, you can now tap on continue
In the next stage, you see the preview of your message, the cost of your sms and the when you are
sending the sms
The next page is where you pay for the sms with your mobile money or bank card as seen below.
After entering your number and provider, you tap on pay below,
You will receive the prompt to pay on your phone to pay.
After payment, the sms will be sent to the recipients like this.
After payment, you will be redirected to the main sms page and you can view the report on your sms
as arrowed.
