A. Content Standard
The learner will demonstrates understanding awareness of body parts in
preparation for participation in physical activities.
B. Performance Standard
The learners will perform with coordination enjoyable movements on body
awareness.
C. Learning Competency:
Learners will describe the different parts of the body and their movements
through enjoyable physical activities. (PE1BM-Ia-b-1)

A. NEED TO KNOW
The learners will guess the flash card that the teacher will show and ask
them a question.

B. MOTIVATION
Let the learners do the actions while singing a song,“hockey pockey”.
Guided question:
1. What body movements did you perform while singing?
2. What shapes were you able to produce? How did you do it? Can
you show it?

A. ACTIVITY
Task 1. BINGO!
The learners will have a bingo card, and teacher will present a picture that
corresponds to the bingo card.
Directions: Encircle the picture in your card that the teacher will present. the winner will
be determined if they got 4 straight images either its vertically or in horizontal position.
B. ANALYSIS:
1. What are the different parts of the body?
2. What are the uses?
3. Do you know where it is located in our body? Can you show it?
C. ABSTRACTION:
Your Body
Body awareness is being aware of all the body parts, how our bodies are moving,
and where they are located in space.
These are the parts of our body:
Head: Compose of eyes, nose, ears, mouth, and hair.
Trunks: Composed of chest, shoulder, and stomach.
Limbs: Composed of two different parts:
1. Upper Limbs (Arms, Elbow, Hand, and Fingers)
2. Lower Limbs (Legs, Knees, Ankle, and Toes)
There are different parts of your body that help you move and do everyday
activities. These body parts enable you to do specific movements even if you are just
standing in place or moving around. You have to move these body parts properly so
you could do the things that make you active and useful.
