1. What factors did you consider in writing your lesson / learning plans?

In writing the lesson plan, teachers must keep in mind that in stating the learning outcomes, the three
domains must be considered (Cognitive, Affective, and Psychomotor). Also, the outcomes must be stated
in terms that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound (SMART). When writing
lesson plans, the learning outcomes, activities, and assessment must be constructively aligned.

2. What difficulties did you meet in writing your lesson / learning plans?

Lack of knowledge about the various components of the lesson plan, selecting appropriate learning
materials, deciding indicators and objectives, allocating teaching time, and determining
evaluation/assessment are all issues that I frequently face when writing my learning plans.

3. What feedback was/were given by your Resource Teacher in your first draft / succeeding lesson /
learning plans?

My Resource Teacher advised me to identify best teaching strategies to use and plan a specific learning
activity that is relevant to the topic and is both engaging and effective. She went on to say that students
should apply what they've learned in class to real-life situations or integrate lesson concepts to real life
situations.

4. What were the best features /areas for improvement of your/lesson learning plans?

The best feature of my learning plan is the sequencing of the lesson in an engaging and meaningful
manner as well as the integration of lesson concepts to real life situations. The areas that need
improvement are probably in planning the specific learning activities and think on these questions like:
What will I do to explain the topic? What will I do to illustrate the topic in a different way? How can I
engage students in the topic? What are some relevant real-life examples, analogies, or situations that can
help students understand the topic? and/ or What will students need to do to help them understand the
topic better?

virtual instruction and those hard copies that I have included in the
learning resources will turn into soft copies for students to have easy
access and will provide them the links that we’ll use in the discussion.

Why is lesson planning an integral part of the instructional cycle?

Being an effective teacher begins with lesson planning. It assists teachers in breaking down each lesson
into a defined flow with specific classroom activities – as well as providing a schedule that they can
follow. To meet the standards-based curriculum, the teacher has a clear idea of what students need to
know, understand, and be able to do. To ensure a successful instructional experience, teachers must plan
their lessons effectively. Lesson plans give teachers a detailed outline to follow during each class,
allowing them to be more effective in the classroom. This ensures that every minute spent in class is spent
teaching important concepts and engaging in meaningful discussions, rather than figuring out what you're
supposed to do as time goes on.

1. The problems challenges I encountered in writing my learning / lesson plans

My biggest struggles are with finding or creating activities and/or assessments that I can align with my
objectives as well as allocating time for the whole discussion like estimating how much time I will spend
on each activity.

2. I hope to achieve to address these problems and challenges by finding a way to put down a plan and try
as much as possible to keep it simple, allocate time for each activity, pay attention to lesson structure and
also try to make sure each and every activity is directed at achieving an end objective in a much flexible
and adaptable way.

3. Some strategies/solutions/means that I can employ to improve these situations problems is to think of
any activities that are relevant, engaging, and productive and must also be stated in SMART manner. And
as I plan my examples and activities, I will estimate how much time I will spend on each. Build in time
for extended explanation or discussion, but also be prepared to move on quickly to different applications
or problems, and to identify strategies that check for understanding.
