    BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 01-2023

    A RESOLUTION RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING HON. MATTHEW J. MARCOS


    MANOTOC, GOVERNOR OF ILOCOS NORTE FOR THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS
    FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SLOPE PROTECTION (RIPRAPPING) OF
    PROVINCIAL ROAD LOCATED AT BARANGAY #13 NAGLICUAN, PASUQUIN,
    ILOCOS NORTE.
    WHEREAS, the slope protection aims to prevent soil erosion and secure the
    provincial roads and properties from possible damages;
    WHEREAS, flooding brings massive problems as we cannot deny the
    devastating consequences and effects on the economy, environment and to the people,
    including the loss of lives and damage to properties;
    WHEREAS, our barangay has no adequate funds for the said project thus we
    seek assistance;
    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kag. E. Daludado duly seconded by Kag. A.
    Vila, be it.
    RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to request the Honorable Matthew J.
    Marcos Manotoc, Governor of Ilocos Norte for the allocation of funds for the
    construction of slope protection (riprapping) of provincial road located at Brgy. #13
    Naglicuan, Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.
    RESOLVED FINALLY, to transcribe copies of this resolution to all concerned
    and to be furnished the Office of the Governor, for the information and favorable
    considerations.
