It is alleged that on July 13, 2021, Tpr. Bram Schroeder violated the law and department policy when he searched
vehicle without consent or probably cause.
was stopped by Tpr. Bram Schroeder for window tint. alleged he was subjected to
an unlawful search of his person and vehicle. The investigation was unable to provide sufficient evidence to confirm or
refute assertions. In-car video does show Trooper Schroeder conducting both searches despite
objections. Trooper Schroeder
During the traffic stop, Trooper Schroeder recovered a pill bottle from person, and the pill bottle
contained a dose of Oxycontin (not specified on the bottle) which claimed to have a prescription for.
Trooper Schroder failed to log the pill into evidence and destroyed the pill at the scene traffic stop.
