CHOLERIC
CHOLERIC
The choleric is the most active of the four temperaments. The word choleric is derived from the Greek word
chole, meaning bile. In older English, the words bile and choler were used as synonyms for rage or fury. He or
she has a fiery and passionate temperament, which, at times, can rise and erupt. A choleric is of a hot-blooded
nature. Choleric corresponds to the fluid of yellow bile (yellowy-green bile is present in the gallbladder), the
season of summer (dry and hot), and the element of fire.
A choleric has determination. Therefore, he or she is very energetic and strives to achieve his or her goals.
The Choleric These people like to speak their minds with dominance and strength. Persons that fit the choleric
personality type are known as people who make good leaders because of their temperament and character.
because of his excellent ability to think and argue using logic and facts. Choleric personality types are
frequently regarded as having high standards for themselves. The choleric is also quick and agile in thinking to
make decisions, competitive, and perfectionist to be independent. They enjoy being leaders and have a
tendency to like to organize and make rules.
They are also motivated by power and direct their will, especially on their interests and projects. This is
probably why choleric people often seek leadership positions. With their energetic charisma and success
orientation, they often have a supportive and energetic effect on other people and radiate self-confidence.
They often have an energetic appearance. But They can be arrogant, merciless, or fanatic in a negative or
unbalanced form. Despite being quickly offended, choleric tend to be outgoing people who can be effective
group leaders. From the job to the conversation, people with these personality qualities might be intensely
immersed in all they do. Cholerics are characterized by their ambitious attitude. Their discourse has an
authoritative, ruling tone.
The two basic characteristics of the choleric are:
To be extroverted and
to seek conflict.
Accordingly, the choleric’s fundamental nature also implies his constructive quality, which is willpower.
Because of their ambition, courage, determination, and thus their assertiveness, choleric are not afraid of
confrontation. Therefore, they get into disputes more often. Since they want to enforce and achieve their
goals, and other people's concerns do not seem to matter much to them, so they often react with frustration
to difficulties, and resistance. This may result in irascibility, aggression, and contentiousness. The drawback of
the choleric personality type is that he is easily shaken out of his equilibrium and driven to rage when events
don't go his way. Although they may perform and be extremely enthusiastic, people of this kind can grieve
failure with dramatic choleric sorrow.
Choleric people excel in new environments and situations, so they actively seek them out. With rigid goals in
mind, people with this temperament rarely stray away from their path to success. sometimes, they let their
emotions get the best of them and they react with intimidating intensity.
And what I like about these personality traits is that They know what they want and keep going until they
reach their goal. nothing you say can change that. Fear is an unfamiliar concept to the choleric - at least, that's
what they want you to think. People with the choleric temperament are known to get what they want when
they want it.
