The Wiggles Research Paper
Australian children s group the Wiggles were formed in Sydney, New South Wales in
1991. The four founding members of the Wiggles were Anthony Field, Phillip Wilcher,
Murray Cook, Greg Page, and Jeff Fatt. The current members of the wiggles include
Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, and Emma Watkins. The Wiggles
started as a TV show on the Australian Broadcasting Company (ABC) with the company
also helping them to promote their first album, the album cost approximately AUD
$4,000 to produce and it sold 100,000 copies in 1991. The Wiggles started with small
audiences averaging around 300 people during combination shows with other ABC
performers, when the wiggles reached crowds of 500 people coming just to see them

They have earned several Platinum, Double Platinum and Multi Platinum records, as
well as sold 23 million DVDs and seven million CDs, and have performed, on average,
to one million people per year. The group has also earned multiple Australasian
Performing Rights Association (APRA) and Australian Recording Industry
Association (ARIA) Music Awards. Through the rest of the 1990s, The Wiggles
maintained a busy recording and touring schedule, becoming as Field reported and
despite his strong dislike of touring, the hardest working touring act in the country .
Eventually, they moved to larger arenas such as the Beacon Theatre and Madison
Square Garden. They performed at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida for six weeks. Their
audiences began to increase, and they toured Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the
US, and the UK. Beginning in 2002, The Wiggles filmed four seasons worth of shows
exclusively with the ABC. The network called them the most successful property that
the ABC has represented in the pre school genre . By the end of 2002, according to
Field, we knew we were involved in something extraordinary in the
Copernicus Vs Galileo
The Government of Galileo s time, the Church, placed him under house arrest in 1633.
Galileo was tried after publishing a book explaining his belief in Copernicus s model
of our solar system, which went against what the church taught. Many believed that we
(Earth) were the center with the known planets revolving round, while Copernicus and
Galileo believed the Solar System was Sun centered (Heliocentric Model). Galileo and
Copernicus scientifically proved they were right by watching the Constellations
(Zodiacs), Venus s phases, and Mar s orbit that appears to go backward. In the
following pages I ll be explaining why Galileo should have been released from house
arrest. Constellations, also known as the Zodiacs, could be seen in the night
Marvel Research Paper
Marvel is better than DC. Without a doubt, I can say that Marvel is a better franchise
than DC, for many different reasons. The superheroes Marvel makes have more solid
structure, made so that you can believe that anyone or anything could possibly become a
superhero. Exhibit A. Let s compare Iron Man to Batman, for one they re both rich and
have lost their parents, but as known without the armor or fancy gadgets, Tony Stark
(Iron Man) would be a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist as he said in the
Avengers, Bruce Wayne (Batman) would still have his fighting skills and he does
support companies but not to the same degree as Tony. Many characters in the Marvel
franchise weren t anything special, just normal people trying to survive... Show more

The character is shown as a villain, but he wasn t always that way, he had grown up in
someone s shadow, as fans know it s his brother Thor s. Years later, he learns that Thor
isn t even his brother, that he was stolen as a child and raised to believe that his own
kind, Frost Giants, were, in simple terms, monsters. Of course Frost Giants were (yes,
were, they were destroyed in one of Loki s attempts to please his father Odin) uncivilized
in the way Thor s people acted, but that doesn t mean one should be raised to hate their
own kind without knowing. Therefore, he is just a young man that was unintentionally

Ines Gender Roles
In Isabel Allende s Inés of My Soul, one woman, Inés Suarez, challenges the traditional
role of women and society by embarking upon a journey alongside her companion to
conquer a part of the New World. Throughout the expedition, Inés faces challenges
because of her gender, yet she also manages to use her gender and the traditional gender
roleto her advantage.
In Spain, machismo was prevalent in society, allowing for men to feel and act as if
inherently superior to women. Although she was not a submissive wife, Inés was still
subject to sexist remarks by her husband, Rodrigo de Quiroga. For example, as Inés
attempted to discourage Rodrigo from an expedition to the New World by arguing that
everything had already been discovered, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Ines explains that since men were not accustomed to seeing a Spanish woman without a
partner, they also treated her with great consideration. In that long, slow journey to
Cuzco they tended to my needs, shared their food with me, lent me their tents and
mounds, and gave me boots and a blanket woven of vicuña, the finest cloth in the
world. Indeed, Ines enjoyed many privileges because she was Spanish. Ines also
benefitted of the different culture of the New World. In Peru, no one denied her respect.
Pedro de Valdivia was a married man yet Ines justified their relationship by arguing that
in the New World, ...men needed immediate love, or a substitute for it. Besides, men have
mistresses in Spain.
Ines s character was very different from the traditional conduct of women at that time.
In fact, Pedro admits that Ines was intimidating. She was also very assertive. Yet,
because of women s inferior status in society, Ines would not be taken seriously as she
tried to convince Pizarro to allow her to accompany Pedro de Valdivia on his quest to
Chile. However, Ines would use one of her skills to her advantage, that of dowsing, or
locating water as an argument for why she should be allowed to go. When in Chile, Ines
does indeed find water and all the conquistadores manage to drink, for which they,
especially Pedro de Valdivia, were very thankful with Ines. She saved us from thirst and in
the desert...she, more than anyone,
Target Intern Interview
June 2, 2015
We kicked off the internship in Nashville at 8:30am. I met my mentor and copious
bosses. I will be partnering with the logistic team for the rest of my internship. Today
consisted of numerous meetings. The meetings included; meet and greets, breakfast
/lunch, discussing our expectations and our leaders expectations, briefing target
policies/core roles, and learning the specific leadership roles we have to achieve and
or maintain in order to prepare for our final operation review. We have approximately
ten weeks with Target aka a ten week interview. A couple of cool facts that I learned
about Target is it started in 1962! Target gives back four million dollars a week to
charity and those in need. There are 49 states and 30 countries ... Show more content on

My opp would be continuing my education in ptming so I can help drive sales and
reduce a markdowns while maintaining a well organized and easy to shop area for our
guest during changes, such as back to school. As far as this year s internship and last
years internship, I see changes made from last years feedback. I think me transferring
to the Chattanooga area has worked out well. Honestly I would tell anyone if they
could go to a different store for their advance internship do it! Each store is very unique
and there are many things to learn and take away from each of them. Since I am at a
different store that has a different volume all while learning a new ETL role I feel like I
will be more prepared to be an ETL since I have now been at two different stores and
different angles, I would suggest it to anyone! I also love the fact we are taking the
time this year to do a team building day as I think everyone can grow from it and take
something away from it to go back to there store and apply. My mentor Peter is great
and I do not think I could brag on him
Polyurethane
What specific material in three different types of sponges polyurethane, polyether(the
rainbow packs), or polyester help that sponge holds the most the water? Well that s what
we re going to be talking about in this research paper. This project is important to help
others learn what type of spongeto buy when going to buy one at the store. This will
also enable me to not just learn about sponges, but to learn about what s in that specific
sponge out of the three polyurethane, polyether(the rainbow packs), or polyester helps it
hold that much water. This will help people understand that not all sponges are equal,
that they should pay attention to the materials the sponge is made of when looking for a
sponge and not just grabbing a random one thinking it will be an extraordinary sponge.
This is important to me because I see my parents buying different... Show more content

This paragraph will furthermore help you to understand the history. The polyester
material became popular around the world since the year 1958. Polyester was
introduced by a company called Eastman Chemical Products (This was based off what
is polyester). Now the second material in the sponge I will be testing is Polyurethane.
This material invented by a scientist named Prof. Dr. Otto Bayer. The origin of
Polyurethane dates back to World War two. Polyurethane was first developed as a
replacement for rubber. Polyurethane was also used for a substitute for the scarce
amount of materials. Polyurethane helped around the world to help impregnation of
paper and the manufacture of mustard gas resistant garments(This was information
coming from American history). Polyether has been helping people with have a high
resistance towards skin oils . Polyethers also weld easily and have a non plastic feel to
them. This helps answer the problem statement because most likely the older the material
the more likely it has become enhanced to absorb large amounts of
Christopher Lindexter Research Paper
When the word beautiful is spoken most invision a five foot four girl with mile long
legs and beach blonde waves following suit and not the character. Most do not take into
account that a beautiful face means nothing if the soul is rotten. Though the quote of
beauty being on the inside is said by many, it is believed and practiced by few. Could it
be attributed to the fact that the quote has no backbone? Would more people believe it
if Christopher Poindexters rendition of the timeless quote of it were in a brighter light?
Maybe his efforts were futile the day he put pen to paper and painstakingly etched out;
I will shed all of this skin down to the very bone beneath of it if that s what it will take
for you to come to the realization that appearance is not what makes a human beautiful.
Christopher Poindexter, being a poet who feeds on the idea of love, has many poems
which add to the idea that one could fall in love with a soul rather than a face. When
reading any of his writings, such as I will love you, not starting with your skin, or your
organs, or your bones: I will love you madly first, with your naked soul. you can hear a
general moral; love is not based on looks. Blind love is beautiful. ... Show more content

Beauty is constantly changing to fit every person, every situation, every possible
rendition that could ever be thought of. Yes, the girl with legs that go for miles is a
pleasant thing to look at, but once she opens her mouth her face seems less important.
How is that beauty if she brings nothing but ugly into the world? No one considers the so
called loner at the back of the classroom, who at best would be rated a four, beautiful,
though every night they are up talking their friend out of suicide because the blonde told
them they are meaningless. Building others up while you feel like you are falling, is
beautiful. Lipstick and eyeliner is not
