Marijuana Argumentative Essay

Crafting an essay on the topic of marijuana, particularly in an argumentative style, can pose both
challenges and opportunities. The subject is multifaceted, encompassing medical, legal, social, and
ethical dimensions, which requires a nuanced approach. Here are some considerations that contribute
to the difficulty of writing such an essay:

1. Controversial Nature: Marijuana is a controversial topic with varying perspectives.

Balancing opposing views while maintaining a coherent argument can be challenging.
Ensuring that your essay remains objective and well-reasoned is crucial.
2. Complex Legal Landscape: The legal status of marijuana differs widely across regions and
countries. Navigating through the complexities of these laws and regulations to present a
comprehensive view adds an additional layer of difficulty.
3. Medical and Scientific Nuances: Understanding the medical and scientific aspects of
marijuana use is vital for an informed argument. Communicating these complexities in a way
that is accessible to a diverse audience can be demanding.
4. Social and Cultural Considerations: Marijuana use is intertwined with social and cultural
norms. Addressing these nuances while avoiding stereotypes or generalizations requires
careful attention and research.
5. Evolving Perspectives: Public opinion on marijuana is dynamic and evolving. Keeping
abreast of the latest developments and incorporating them into your argument requires
ongoing research and adaptability.
6. Ethical Dilemmas: Discussions around marijuana often involve ethical considerations.
Analyzing the ethical implications of legalization or prohibition adds another layer of
complexity to the essay.

Despite these challenges, writing an essay on the topic offers a chance to delve into a relevant and
evolving societal issue. It allows for the development of critical thinking skills, research proficiency,
and the ability to articulate complex ideas.

Bram Stoker s Influence On Dracula
In 1897, Bram Stoker took a risk in writing Dracula and become one of the most
acclaimed and well known authors in history. Stoker s leap of faith help to lead to a
whole new genre. Dracula was one of the first horror stories to ever be published.
Another way that Stoker chose to be unique is the way that he wrote the stories in first
person journal entries which help the reader to better understand each character and their
personal feelings. Bram Stoker will always be remembered because he is the creator of
Draculaand Vampirism. The influence that Stoker was able to make through Dracula is
phenomenal and will live on until the end of time. Today, everywhere we look we see a
little bit of Dracula, from movies to tv series, to books and blogs. The list never ends
with vampireand werewolf themes.
There are three major facts about Dracula that we do not know. For starters, the first

The Yield Spread Of A Corporate Bond And A Comparable...
2. Literature review
The yield spread is defined as the difference between the yield on a corporate bond and
a comparable government bond. Prior to a study done by Merton (1974) yield spreads
were considered to be mainly driven by expected default losses on corporate bonds, tax
premiums and risk premiums (Radier et al, 2015). However, Merton (1974) and more
recent research has shown that factors such as equity volatility, liquidity, interest rate
levels and the slope of the treasury term structure are also significant factors in
determining changes in the yield spread (Radier et al, 2013; Lepone Wong, 2009; Peter
Grandes, 2007; Collin Dufresne, Goldstein Martin, 2001).

2.1 Equity Volatility

One of the three factors which Merton (1974) found to be a significant determinant of
the yield spread was the probability of default as indicated by the firm specific equity
volatility on the stock market. Merton (1974) predicted a positive relationship between
equity volatility and the yield spread. According to Merton (1974), a short put option on
the equity of a company is equivalent to a corporate bond issued by that company. This
means that any individual corporate bond yield should have a positive relationship with
the equity value of the firm (Jubinski Lipton, 2012).

Radier et al (2015); Hibbert et al (2011); Campbell Taksler (2004) all find evidence
supporting Merton (1974) s prediction of a positive relationship. Radier et al (2015) is
the only one of these studies
Mental Environmentalism Summary
In Micah White s Mental Environmentalism , the author emphasizes the detrimental
effects imprudent and pervasive commercial advertising has on society and compares it
to a dystopia where we are captivated by consumerism. White explains that we must
maintain a healthy mental environment because our external reality is essentially a
reflection of our internal world and with the way advertisements have plagued our
minds, it has resulted in devastating global issues like climate change. With constant
exposure to advertisements daily, our ability and potential to be imaginative and think
freely is limited, both traits that are vital for a society to thrive and flourish. White starts
the abstract off with an epiphany of how he feels he is in
Population in Mexico City
Effects of over population in Mexico City
There are parts of the world that have an alarming overpopulation rate, one of these
locations is
Mexico city which is located in the Federal District, Capital of the Country of Mexico.
Mexico City s enormous population continues to rapidly increase every day. With
approximately 20 million residents; up from 9 million only 20 years ago, Mexico City is
considered the most populous urban center on earth. There are many people in the
country of

Mexico who move to Mexico city because they feel that there are better life and

The Mexican Government should take an active role in alleviating the population crisis.
As a monetary incentive to remain childless, tax rebates should be given to people
who don t have children. The population bomb threatening the earth can still be
defused. If the population problem were addressed, the rest of the world s woes would
be much easier to remedy. Overpopulation underlies most problems facing many places
all over the world, and one of them being greatly affected is Mexico city today. People
can all help by limiting their own family size and encouraging young people to do the
same and voting for laws to encourage zero population growth. A brighter future will be

Dreams Research Papers
Have you ever had dreams or nightmares that leave you wondering if there is any
meaning behind them? Have you ever had dreams that you wish to re watch and keep
forever? Would you like to know the meaning to some common dreams? Some people
do believe that there are purposes for dreaming just because they are so compelling,
strange or downright scary. Others do not. Oneirology is the study of dreaming and
research says they could have meaning.

We all have dreams, even if you do not know of them. The average person usually has
several dreams a night lasting 5 to 20 minutes. If you added up all the time you would
spend dreaming in your life, it would come out to 6 years, even though we don t
remember 95% of all our dreams!

There are many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

A full night s sleep can help get over sickness, handle stress, and solve problems you
had during the day. When you sleep it comes in two stages; Rapid eye movement
(REM) sleep and non rapid eye movement (NREM). We are focusing on REM sleep.
This happens about 90 minutes into your slumber and lasts about an hour. Intense
dreaming occurs during REM sleep because of heightened brain activity. While doing
so, your eyes dart all around under your eyelids. Researchers at the University of
Chicago found out about REM sleep. Researchers awoke people during this stage of
sleep and they almost always said they were dreaming. The electrical activity of the
brain during REM sleep is almost the same as when it s awake. On the flipside you can
also be aware that you are dreaming, be able to control your actions with your conscious
mind, but not move your body. This is called lucid dreaming. It s difficult to achieve a
lucid dream but it can be done. But back to REM sleep. If your brain has to solve a new
problem during the day, or learn something entirely new, your brain replays that over in
your mind during REM sleep. Without REM sleep, we would all be confused and
forgetful of new
