2. Father Diego Cera was the first Parish Priest in Las Piñas during the Spanish Era.
The organ was completed in 1824. It is situated in St. Joseph Parish Church.
3. Gregoria de Jesus (1875-1943) was the wife of the nationalist Andres Bonifacio (d.
1897). She was also the first female member of the Katipunan, a revolutionary
group. As such, she was given the label "muse", or "lakambini".
4. This 1969 novel was written by Hernandez while he was in prison. Hernandez was
a labor leader who was known for his criticism of social injustices in the
Philippines. He died in 1970.
