Argumentative Essay Example On Abortion

Writing an argumentative essay on the topic of abortion can be a challenging endeavor that requires
careful research, thoughtful analysis, and the ability to present a well-structured and convincing
argument. The subject of abortion is highly controversial and emotionally charged, making it essential
for the writer to navigate through various perspectives with sensitivity and objectivity.

One of the primary difficulties in crafting such an essay is the need to address the ethical, moral, and
legal aspects surrounding abortion. The writer must delve into the complex and nuanced nature of the
topic, considering both pro-life and pro-choice arguments while maintaining a balanced and
respectful tone. It requires a deep understanding of the historical context, cultural differences, and
diverse beliefs that contribute to the complexity of the abortion debate.

Researching credible sources is crucial to building a strong foundation for the argument. It involves
sifting through a myriad of studies, legal documents, ethical frameworks, and personal narratives to
support the chosen stance. Additionally, presenting accurate and up-to-date information is essential
in providing a comprehensive overview of the subject matter.

Another challenge lies in crafting a compelling thesis statement that clearly articulates the writer's
position on the issue. The thesis should be specific, debatable, and reflective of the main argument
presented in the essay. Developing a coherent and logical structure is also essential, as it helps to
guide the reader through the different aspects of the argument, leading to a well-supported
conclusion.

Furthermore, maintaining a neutral and respectful tone is critical, as abortion is a deeply personal and
sensitive topic. Striking the right balance between empathy and objectivity is challenging but
necessary to engage readers from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.

In conclusion, writing an argumentative essay on the topic of abortion demands thorough research,
critical thinking, and a nuanced understanding of the subject. Navigating through the complexities
and controversies surrounding abortion requires a careful and respectful approach. While challenging,
it provides an opportunity for writers to hone their analytical and persuasive skills, contributing to a
more informed and empathetic discourse on this important issue.

Fantasia Movie Comparison
Absolute film was a movement created by a group of artists in Germany in the 1920 s
(Wikipedia). Hans Richter, Walter Ruttman, Oskar Fischinger, and Viking Eggeling were
the pioneers who created absolute film, and all of them had artistic backgrounds besides
Fischinger. Most cinematic projects have a story line, and something you follow through,
but with absolute filmit is quite the opposite. Absolute film depended solely on the artist
s vision and imagination for the film. It was a remarkable revolution in cinema, that a
film could be created simply off a visual spectacle with aid from auditory music. No story
line, no characters, nothing... just random images, colors, shapes flowing on the screen
to music made to evoke imagination. Fantasia... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They can make it as simple and just colors flashing across the screen with no music, or
as complex as something as Fantasia. I think it s necessary because without it an
expressional type of film wouldn t exist, but I don t think filmmaking is dependent on
absolute film. There were films before absolute film and films after, but I do think it
helped show a more creative side to cinema. It helped aid in making history in cinema,
and provided a different outlook to certain film features. Without absolute film, so new
film techniques might not have been discovered till way later, so I think ultimately it
helped grow the cinema field and knowledge. I am not sure why Walt Disney would put
an absolute film in a children s production. Even though Fantasia wasn t as weird as
Mothlight, I feel like children would have a hard time being interested in a film with no
characters, or plot. On the other hand, children do have short spans of attention, and
sometimes can t understand difficult story lines because of their age, so maybe this film
would be interesting to them. I think Walt Disney motivation to put an absolute film in a
children s production was to simply spark
The Problem Of Democrats And Republicans Essay
I have chosen the topic concerning the inability of Democrats and Republicans to
properly reform the criminal justice system. This is an issue with nearly every topic
and this is the main cause of issues in the country. The debates and lack of agreeable
actions makes it seem nearly impossible for the country to change in positive ways in
timely manners. This issue is the biggest issue in the United States of America, because
it interferes with progress and reform. This is an integral part of why the current system
remains in a dysfunctional state. This issues is more urgent than the others topics
because if this issues is adequately addressed it has the potential to positively impact
recidivism, bias and disproportionate incarceration among minorities, relational impacts
for prisoners and many other issues. This will only happen if the political parties can
come to a moral understanding and reform the system to promote growth and
rehabilitation. The inability for the two parts to agree and implement positive
reformations is the biggest issue for the criminal justicesystem because the only way the
system will change is if there is agreeance for the need of reform.
The current system is based on mass incarceration which was meant to keep more
criminals off the streets and make the people feel safer. This approach has created more
instability and discrimination. Incarceration deepens existing inequalities and even
creates new inequalities... especially for African Americans
Simone De Beauvoir Patriarchy
In her works, Simone de Beauvoir attacks the patriarchy of her era with a blistering
report on what she believes causes sexual tension in society. She does so by defining
the characteristics and basics of the conflict, by exploring the perceived differences in
man and woman. De Beauvoir explains in The Second Sex what has defined woman as
the other of society, while discussing how existential bad faith and anxiety have a role in
the objectification process. By dissecting the differences in the oppression of women and
general economic oppression, she highlights the importance of deconstructing the
blatantly negative system of sexism which prevails in human society. Doing so allows
her to express her ideal world, one in which the modern... Show more content on

From the position of object, the women of her period sought subjectivity and the
resulting reaction from men was confusion. Previous women acted based upon the
existential angst that they felt, which led the majority of them to an existence of bad
faith. To run from the responsibility of their radical freedom, these women took the
roles easily granted to them by society and allowed men to make their decisions and
take actions in their name. Living this way was easy and required little responsibility
on their part, but was in bad faith because it limited their freedom based upon fear.
However, the progressive women of de Beauvoir s period were also living in bad faith
by attempting to retain their passivity and seeking the freedom of action. The woman in
the story above is acting in bad faith when she convinces herself that the man s
intentions are anything but sexually oriented. Purposefully living a lie, or refraining
from making a decision based upon a fear of reality, are the very basis of what both Jean
Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir describe as bad faith. Women who see the reality of
the world and actively take action in spite of their obstacles are those who live in good
faith. The individuals who reject the subordinate roles that they are expected to fill are
those who understand their freedom. Living as an object of

OFFP (Oil for Food Program) exercised sanctions and Escrow was paid and the revenue
generated from Petroleum products were accounted in the United Nation s Escrow
account.
These proceeds collected in the escrow accounts could be released only for the
transaction of permitted commodities including food stuffs. AWB was a major supplier
of Wheat to Iraq under the Oil for Food Program (Australasian Legal Information
Institute, 2017a).
There were number of contraventions in this case. The first issue was regarding paying
the 10% of proceeds as the carriage cost pertaining to the wheat contracts to Alia. This
was later paid to the government. Alia was an intermediary company aiding in the
completion of the overall dealings related to the case under analysis. Iraq was able to get
the hard currency from this. Provisions were made to reimburse the payment portion
received by AWB which further strengthened the ability to accumulate hard currency. In
other words, the money from escrow account of UN was being used for purposes which
were other than making payment for the commodities not permitted (Austin and
Reynolds, 2012).
The second breach by AWB is the business contract they had with Tigris (another
company). The contract was focused on recovering significant debt estimated to be of
approximately $8 million, for transporting wheat to Iraq. To achieve this objective, AWB
inflated the price of wheat under the OFFP contracts which eventually resulted in the
payment from the
The Exploration Of Feminist Theory Essay
The theory focused on is the exploration of feminist theory developed by Mary
Wollstonecraft in the 1790 s. The traditional interpretation of this theory is based on the
common ideology of feminism within the Communication world. Illustrating gender
inequality the feminist theory analysis into the social fields of politics, business, media
platforms, and social normalities. Research traditions include socio psychology and
semiotics due to the cause and effect relationships that help create social standards while
also the symbolic forms of media that influence how people perceive and view women.
The epistemology foundation used in this theory is interpretivism. The interpretation of
how society views women and how feminist view society. Formed from the perspective
of a feminist standpoint researches analyze social normalities and political figures. In a
journal written by Women s Studies in Communication they demonstrate how women
politicians are portrayed in news media platforms. Researches Dustin Harp, Jaime Loke,
and Ingrid Bachmann, analyzed news portals on Hillary Clinton s testimony after the
attacks made on America in Benghazi, Libya. Researches found that news outlets
covered Clinton s testimony as sex stereotypical by focusing on what Clinton s emotions
were like, her competence level, and her physical appearance. The key methods
discussed by researches were concentrated on patterns within the text, assumptions made
by writers and how narratives were perceived by
