ASD Intervention Essay
Another method that is commonly used as an intervention for students with ASD is the
Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). ESDM is an inclusive behavioral intervention for
infants to preschool aged children (Dawson et al., 2009; Vivanti et al., 2014). The
learning objectives are based on individual strengths and weaknesses, with a focus on
developmental fields that are foundational to social and social cognitive learning and
development (Vivanti et al., 2014). The students with ASD work to enhance their verbal
and nonverbal communication, emotion sharing, imitation, joint attention, play, social
orienting, and attention (Rogers et al., 2012).
The ESDM program outlines the skills taught at certain times and the teaching
interventions used to deliver the material. This early intervention is often performed in
the child s natural environment such as the home with trained professionals and
parents, but is also performed in group settings (Dawson et al., 2009; Vismara Rogers,
2008; Vivanti et al., 2014). ESDM is often performed in a 1:1 setting, but it has also
been performed in larger group settings with a 1:3 ratio (Dawson et al., 2009; Vismara
Rogers, 2008; Vivanti et al., 2014). This intervention incorporates ABA with
developmental and relationship based approaches (Dawson et al., 2009).

Social stories often are simple stories explaining how to do something (i.e., sitting on the
rug) without disruptions (Agosta et al., 2004). Social stories should have four basic types
of sentences: descriptive, directive, perspective, and affirmative (Delano Snell, 2006). A
reinforcement system can be initially introduced as well to encourage the positive
behaviors. Research suggests that when the reinforcement is removed while the social
story remains, the disruptive behaviors continue to diminish (Agosta et al.,

NIGERIA BANKS (A CASE STUDY OF DIAMOND BANK PLC NIGERIA)

CHAPTER ONE
1.1BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY Before the emergence of modern banking system,
banking operation was manually done which lead to a slow down in settlement of
transactions. This manual system involves posting transactions from one ledger to
another which human handles. Figures or counting of money which should be done
through computers or electronic machine were computed and counted manually which
were not 100% accurate thereby resulting to human errors. Most bank then use only one
computer in carrying out transactions which ameliorate the sluggish nature of banking ...

Adoption of electronic banking which suppose to ease banking transactions rather
resulted to woes to customer. Most people complain of time wasted in banks. This
occurs when there is power failure in banks resulting to slow down in operation.
Another problem that emerged was that banks do not have information backup to fall
back on should there be any computer break down. In investing in electronic banking,
the country will need a large amount of financial resources in computer technology,
obviously, the resource is in short supply in Nigeria, couple with high level of poverty.
For an efficient functioning of electronic payment system, there must be availability of
infrastructural facilities such as electricity and telecommunication network, however,
power supply fluctuates and there is still constant failure links in networks. Since early
2000s banks have been developing and introducing payment cards for their customers as
well as deploy ATM s cards. Usage was however low due to lack of interconnectivity i.e.
switching platform to interconnect the ATM s for card holders.
1.3OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY This research work intends to assess the extent of
electronic payment in banking activities as well as identify the various types of
electronic banking. The researcher will also evaluate the major problems associated with
the development of

Major Discoveries in Electrical Communication in the 1800’s
The nineteenth century was a very prolific era of discovery in electrical knowledge and
technologies that laid the foundation for modern electrical communication. During this
period of time the foundations of modern electrically based technologies were discovered.
The nineteenth century began with a debate between Luigi Galvani, and Alessandro
Volta regarding the source of electricityin Galvani s famous frog experiment. These
debates lead to the invention of the battery by Volta, and the invention of Volta s. Volta
s discoveries would lead the way for Ohm s law several years later. However, before that
discovery was made Hans Christian Ørstead discovered electromagnetism, which was
then used by André Marie Amperè to show that magnetism... Show more content on

Galvani noticed that when a metal scalpel was brought close one of the nerves in the
frog that the frog s leg would move. Galvani stated that the electricity observed in the
frogs was intrinsic the nerves of the frog. Galvani used multiple different metals
combinations to demonstrate the electric phenomenon. He would further demonstrate
that metals were seemingly unneeded. He did this by manipulating the nerves and
muscles of the frogs in such way that caused the same twitch, as when a metal object
was brought near. The publication of his research in 1791 would peak the interest of
Alessandro Volta. Volta was convinced that Galvani s animal electricity was not the
result of the animal tissues, but the metals within those tissues. In an effort to prove this
Volta invented the battery . Volta s battery was built out of alternating zinc and copper
disks with cloth (or a similar medium) soaked in salt water [10]. Volta stated the
following regarding the nature of electricity with respect to Galvani s animal electricity:
Herein lies the whole secret, the whole magic of Galvanism. It is simply an artificial
electricity, which acts under the impulse of contacts between different conductors [9]. At
this point Volta s theory of electricity by contact was fully accepted. Just after Volta s
greatest discovery and before that of Ohm, Hans Christian Ørstead discovered
magnetism. Ørstead conducted a series of experiments that

Should music with cuss words be played at a school dance?

I think that music with cuss words should be played at a school dance. People in high
school are mature enough to handle a song with cuss words in them, Most of the songs
we like now in this generation include cuss words, and it s everywhere whether you like
it or not.
People in high school are mature enough to handle a song with cuss words in them.
They aren t going to overreact mainly since they already heard these words before
somewhere. In public/middle school, students would freak out and be childish about it,
but in high school, they d maintain their cool and stay calm during the situation. Cussing
is a normal thing after you reach the age 15. (Cuss words
Kiss Me Kate Critical Analysis
On November 1st, 2017, I saw the play Kiss Me, Kate by Samuel and Bella Spewack
at the McGuire Pavilion in Gainesville. The musical is about how two famous actors
who were once married, but divorced and are now going to get remarried collaborate
with a few up and coming actors for Shakespeare s The Taming of the Shrew. However,
there are problems backstage between the crew due to their affairs. Fred Graham, who
is played by Thomas Nightingale, is about to remarry his ex wife and he an actor,
director, and producer for The Taming of the Shrew. Louis Lane is portrayed by Brittany
Bennett and her character comes off as incoherent and the audience sees her relationship
with her boyfriend who has a gambling problem. Nightingale is very effective at showing
his characters true feelings toward his future wife, but Bennett does a better job depicting
her character.
In act one, Nightingale first shows his abilities when he is on stage going back and forth
from directing to acting. He was very good at directing and this was seen through the
way he used his voice and facial expressions to demand the respect and attention from
the other actors. His confidence and strong voice made it clear that he was the one in
charge. He also made sure to flirt with Bennett s character while he was directing.
Nightingale made sure that he got her acceptance, but he made it clear to the audience
that he did not find it as an accomplishment. This was made clear when he turned and
laughed after she made
Relationships And Verbal Abuse
verbal abuse is unpredictable. Her separate self can appear due to anything from her
physical presence, to saying something differently then he imagined, to asking a question
about his week (only a separate person wouldn t know exactly what s going on in his
mind.), to having unique talents, to having friends, etc.

once the abuser finds that their relationship is secure, they will start controlling. At first
they seem like the best guy. He treats her so well, is considerate and understanding. Then,
once he feels the relationship is secure, he begins to control. Some things that might
secure the relationship are sending out wedding invitations, having a child, moving to a
new city (which means you are ISOLATED from family and friends), quitting
