INTRODUCTION
QUEZON CITY
It has become the hub of information technology
and its entertainment industry in the Philippines.
The city was named after former Philippine
president Manuel Luis Quezon y Molina. Quezon
City was the country's capital from 1946 until
1972, when the seat of government was returned
to neighboring Manila.

It was founded on October 12, 1939, and was


named after Manuel L. Quezon, the second
president of the Philippines. The city was intended
to be the national capital of the Philippines that
would replace Manila, as the latter was suffering
from overcrowding, lack of housing, poor
sanitation, and traffic congestion.

Quezon, Quezon was formally instituted as a town


on January 1, 1914 naming the locality after the
most honored son of the province, then
Commissioner Manuel L. Quezon, through the
Executive Order No. 101 Series of 1913 issued by
Governor Burton Harrison composing of 11 barrios

The second largest shopping mall in the Philippines
and the 5th largest in the world, SM Megamall is
worth a trip. It is a perfect destination for
shopaholics.

One of the most popular shopping mall complexes
in the city, Greenhills Shopping Center is worth a
trip. The locals and tourists visit this mall for
shopping, dining, and rejuvenation through the
beauty & wellness services offered in its premises.
With over 2,000 stores in a unique indoor/outdoor
environment, this mall is well connected by road.
Once you land in Quezon City, just book a cab and
directly go to the mall.

Maginhawa Food Park is home to several world-


class restaurants and eateries that help the
tourists and locals to taste the hand-prepared food
made from the local and seasonal ingredients.
With a wide selection of delicious and flavorful
dishes, diners can taste delicious Philippines
dishes.
Known as The Big Dome, The Smart Araneta
Coliseum is an indoor multi-purpose sports area in
the Philippines. Being one of the largest indoor
areas in Asia today, it offers you the facility of
playing many games at once.

CIRCULATION

Quezon City is
connected to the two
main train lines in Metro
Manila(LRT Line-2 and
MRT). These two train
lines can get you around
Metro Manila. Buses are
also commonly found in
Quezon City, particularly
along Quezon Avenue
and EDSA.

THOUGHT THE SOLUTION TO NOT WASTING SPACE I PUT
A COVERED BRIDGE TO A BUILDING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A BRIDGE SPANNING THE CREEK WOULD ENHANCE
CONNECTIVITY AND ACCESSIBILITY FOR THE
COMMUNITY. CURRENTLY, THERE IS ONLY A LIMITED
NUMBER OF ACCESS POINTS TO THE CREEK, MAKING IT
CHALLENGING FOR RESIDENTS IN CERTAIN AREAS TO
FULLY ENJOY ITS OFFERINGS. WITH A BRIDGE IN PLACE,
EVERY CORNER OF THE COMMUNITY WOULD HAVE
EFFORTLESS ACCESS TO THIS NATURAL TREASURE.

Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao

The Philippines, a country composed of 7,641


beautiful islands, is home to a diverse culture,
tradition, and landscape. The archipelago can be
geographically organized into three major islands:
Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Together, they form
the acronym Luzviminda, symbolizing the unity and
rich heritage of the Filipino people.
HEAD OF CARABAO

The vibrant cultures and rich traditions of the indigenous


peoples of the Philippines have always been a source of
inspiration for architects and artists alike. One particular group
TOWER that stands out is the Ifugao people, known for their ingenious
rice terraces and intricate crafts. Their craftsmanship extends
beyond their famous rice terraces and can also be seen in their
weaving patterns, particularly the patterns used in their
blankets. It is this remarkable artistry that I have chosen to
incorporate in the facades of my building design.
