Masking: It basically helps in creating a mask layer of the selected layer on which editing take place. If this is not
turned on, the editing can not be removed but using this, it can. For ex: If you use brush tool to paint some thing
and then want to earse it, you can not as it will delete the pixels or content of the original image or object as well .
But if you put the mask, you can delete the paint only to bring back the content of original, just need to paint again
with white color. Hence, To ERASE, we use BLACK COLOR, to BRING BACK, color with white color. Coloring must be
done on the mask layer.
Option to put masking is available under the layer panel.

panel.’

curve. Two handles will appear where first/above has made the curve line and another one will make the line
curve that you will make after that.
 To adjust the curves after making them, just hold the ALT key and drag the handle created.
 To move a creation point, just hold CTRL key and move it.
 Put the handle point on creation point to put it on ZERO and the line will be straight.
Style panel: it is used to give styles to the objects and can be accessed from view menu.
Typography: Explored on your own.

 When everything is done and project is completed click on CTRL + S to open the SAVE AS window, every
project you made must be saved in the Photoshop format which is known as Master file so that whenever
you will open it again you will get all the editings you did separately like you will see all the different layers
you added and others and for display and other purposes you should save it in the required format which is
either jpg or PNG or bitmap etc.
 The other option is Export where you can also save it for web too.
