Three little pigs each built houses of different materials - straw, sticks, and bricks. The big bad wolf huffed and puffed and blew down the straw and stick houses. The pigs escaped to the brick house, which withstood the wolf's blows. Eventually the wolf went down the chimney but fell into a pot of water, allowing the pigs to live happily ever after in their strong brick house.
