you consider the most beautiful in the world. Include an idea web
graphic organizer.

The earth is full of beautiful locations. Every location has unique characteristics and while several
locations are renowned for their breathtaking architecture, others offer an abundance of natural beauty.
Furthermore, each individual has unique preferences, choices, and inclinations. Many people find
pleasure in taking in breathtaking scenery, while others find historical and archeological sites to be
captivating. Some, however, can be drawn to destinations with significant religious significance. Scotland
is the most gorgeous place on earth, in my opinion.

I have seen a ton of historical and tourist attractions in person and have seen even more on the internet.
However, the place that has stayed with me the most is Scotland. Despite the fact that I only saw it
online, it is the most breathtaking location I have ever seen. The breathtaking splendor of Scotland's
cities astounded me. Scotland is one of the most alluring destinations on earth, with its highlands,
towering trees, lush green plains, and valleys.

Despite being a small country, this one is full of contrasts: mildly undulating hills, untamed coastlines,
and striking, tall peaks that encircle thriving, energetic cities and towns coexisting with historic castles,
monuments, and folklore. You can always find peace and quiet in beautiful natural reserves, country
parks, and sandy beaches if the fast-paced urban life becomes too much for you. Scotland's stunning
scenery and rough terrain are what make it so beautiful. What makes Scotland unique are the
spectacular landmarks and comparable natural features found throughout the nation.

Due to Lou Gehrig's illness, Sue Rodriguez, a mother in her early thirties, will pass away slowly and in
excruciating pain. She spent several years of her life knowing that her muscles would eventually begin
to weaken and eventually, on a fateful day, she would become fully cognizant and choke to death. She
pleaded with the courts to let her physician assist her in selecting her final moment of life, but they
refused.

Euthanasia is the "killing" of a suffering patient by a doctor or another person to speed up death and
relieve suffering. The most obvious choice in the game of life and death is, one would assume, life. Since
this isn't always the case, assisted suicide, or euthanasia, is a hotly debated subject in the modern world.
In certain situations, it has many questions if death is the best option. What happens if someone is
suffering from a fatal illness, doesn't want to spend their last moments in a hospital bed, and is in
agonizing pain? These arguments support the notion that some forms of assisted suicide ought to be
permitted.

There are far more benefits of euthanasia than drawbacks. It has many benefits for the patient, including
the ability to terminate misery, hasten the approaching death, and spare a great deal of anguish and
heartache. It is a truth that a patient may experience unbearable agony from a variety of conditions. For
example, persistent bruising, recurrent infections, and bone fractures are all possible signs of blood
cancer. When a patient exhausts all treatment options and reaches a dead end, it is just preferable to
pass away with dignity rather than in a hospital bed, never realizing who you've faded into.

The idea of liberty implies that a terminally ill person has the right to a dignified death and to be free
from unbearable pain. One's freedom to practice euthanasia is unalienable, and the courts ought to have
the same authority over this as they do over issues pertaining to marriage, family dynamics,
reproduction, and the acceptance or rejection of life-sustaining medical care. Although it is claimed that
we live in a free country where we are able to make our own decisions, are we truly free if we are unable
to even choose whether or not to live our own lives?

For those who are suffering and no longer regard life as a choice, death is ultimately a real alternative.
Although many believe it to be cruel and against Christian principles, we must consider the patient's
perspective. In this country, we are guaranteed certain rights, and the right to die ought to be accorded
the same respect as the right to live. These arguments support the notion that some forms of assisted
suicide ought to be permitted.

5 READING AND CRITICAL THINKING

Discuss the following questions.

Before Reading.
Look at the title. What did you think the story was about? Why? I though the story
was about a house eviction. Because of the title I thought the story would talk about a
family who was evicted.
While reading.
Who are the characters? What are their motives? The two siblings. Irene and her
brother, the man who tell the story.
Where and when do you notice a change in the story? In the second page, in the
moment the brother went down to the kitchen and he said “I had to shut the door to the
passage. They’ve taken over the back part”
What happened in the story? Summarize it. There were a couple of siblings that live
together in an old house and they started to live stranger situations. At the end they had to
leave the house due to these situations that seems to be terrified.
How do you interpret the story? I think it is a very descriptive story and it is its value and
essential. Because it focuses on details of the house and its characters.
What would your reaction or perspective be if you were in the opposite side of the
story? I think I would feel insecure and afraid of the situations happening in the house,
and leave the house the first day.
After reading. Critical thinking.
How could the story have ended differently? Could the story be interpreted
differently? A different ending would be one in which the siblings stayed in the house.
What are the strengths of the argument? What are the weaknesses of the
argument? The details of the narrative are one the strengths of the argument because it
allows the reader to be creative about the situations.
Can you compare the story with another one that you know? I can compare the story
with some horror movies I watched.
What would you ask the author about? Why? About the reason of the details and its
importance on a writing.

17
Discuss the following questions.
Before Reading.
Look at the title. What do you think the story is about? Why? I thought it was about a
legend of some city of the world that involves environment and magic objects.

While reading.
Who are the characters? What are their motives? Theres is one character, who tells
the story about a couple.
Where and when do you notice a change in the story?
Well, I notice a change in the story when the man starts to talk about the story he was
reading.
What happened in the story? Summarize it.
It talks about a couple that have a romantic moment.
How do you interpret the story?
It is a very beautiful story, because it has a lot of figurative language and it makes the
story magical.
After reading. Critical thinking.
How could the story have ended differently? Could the story be interpreted
differently?
Maybe it could have a sad ending where the couple didn't have their moment together.
Can you compare the story with another one that you know?
No, in my case it is the first time I read a story like that.
What would you ask the author about? Why?
I would ask the author how he/she knows what language to use and when to use it.

6 SELF-REFLECTION

The teacher was incredibly prepared and helpful, and the subject matter was quite
engaging. I initially showed that I was willing to learn because I enjoy English. But as the
days went by, I grew weary of the routine and lost interest in studying.
Overall, the lessons went pretty well, and despite my extreme fatigue, I gave it my all.
Regretfully, there were days when I was unable to focus and didn't feel as engaged in the
lesson.
This course has made me realize that I need to better manage my time so that I can study
and practice my English more, which has transformed the way I approach it. In the past, I
wouldn't have bothered to study with the book anywhere else than at home.
The course was set up in such a way that made learning an entertained and catchy. Also,
being able to talk openly to the teacher, if I had a question, certainly helped me feel relaxed,
non-threatened, and at ease if I ever had trouble finding an answer to a problem.
I performed rather well in the class but I felt I could have done better. If I had done more
practicing, I may have gotten a better grasp of the topics. However, that I did a very good
job considering my circumstances of having a full-time job, a family and taking another
course.
