Research Title : Banana (Musa Paradisiaca Linn) Pseudo
Stem
As an Eco Bag
ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Banana (Musa Paradisiaca
Linn) Pseudo stem as an Eco Bag in limiting the usage of plastic bags in our environment. The
result of this study will help students to be aware about the environmental issue and how they
can help to prevent it.
The study used Science Investigatory Project with the integration of Descriptive
Research using the questionnaires as tool in gathering data. Systematic Random Sampling
was used to collect the 45 respondents of Grade-10 in Peña I National High School
Results showed that most of the students used plastic bags as their main carrier bag.
Students must find alternative way in carrying their things such as banana pseudo stem as
an eco-bag to avoid pollution to the environment
