    1. DOCUMENT REVIEW

    1.1 Ensure the availability of updated approved shop drawings

    Ensure the material used for installation is as per the approved

    2. PLACEMENT, MOUNTING & VIBRATION ISOLATION


    Ensure Pumps are placed in location with Clearances as per
    2.1 manufacturer recommendations and as shown in approved shop
    drawings for operation, testing and maintenance purposes

    Ensure concrete bases are available and approved to install the


    2.2 pumps and are suitable dimensions and locations coordinated with
    Mechanical shop drawings (for all types of domestic water pumps)

    Check Mounting & Vibration Isolators are installed as per

    manufacturer recommendation complying with project specifications.

    3. INSTALLATION OF PUMP CONNECTIONS & ACCESSORIES

    Check the complete installation and orientation of pumps &


    3.1 components are free from damage and as per the approved shop
    drawing (for all pumps)
    Check the installation of pipe supports are properly fix at the suction
    3.2 and discharge line of the pumps with approved fittings & flexible
    connections (for all types of domestic water pumps)
    Check the installation of connections are completed or not (i.e union,
    flanges,and grooved joints at suction and discharge header of
    3.3
    domestic water pipping) and their orientations are as per the
    approved shop drawing (for all types of domestic water pumps)
    Check the installation of accessories are completed or not (i.e
    strainers,check valve,shut off valve, ball valve, butterfly valve,gate
    3.4
    valve,pressure guages) and their orientations are as per the
    approved shop drawing (for booster pumps only )
    Check the installation of accessories are completed or not (i.e shut
    off valve,strainer on the suction side and check valve, shutoff valve,
    3.5
    throttle valve on discharge side, pressure guages ) for
    (vertcal/horizontal mounted domestic water pumps only)
    Check the installation and orientation of Bypass line(i.e connections
    and accessories ,valves ) connecting suction and discharge line of
    3.6
    the pump is completed as per approved shop drawing(for all
    domestic water pumps)

    Check the installation of pressure switches in water supply line and


    thermostats in hot water return line is as per the appproved shop

    4. TEST AND INSPECTION


    After installation Leak test is performed to charge booster pumps
    4.1 perform for leak test repair leak and retest until no leak exist (for all
    types of domestic water pumps)

    Operational test is performed after electrical circuitry has been


    4.2 energized start booster pumps to confirm booster pump orientation
    and booster pump operations (for all types of domestic water pumps)

    Test adjust control replace damaged and malfunctioning equipments
