spaces.

an urban area. Urban grain is the balance of open space to built form and the
nature and extent of subdividing an area into smaller parts or blocks.

Urban Density. Urban density refers to the number of people living in an


urbanized area.

Urban Height and Massing. Urban height is the scale of the building with
respect to the floor area and height of the building. Meanwhile, urban
massing describes the relationship of the various parts of the building with
each other.
