    GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA FOR MASS DEMO

    GUIDELINES

    1. The competition is open to all bona fide students of Pareja Integrated School.
    2. All students from each participating team are encouraged to participate in the said
    competition. Attendance will be counted before the show and in accordance with the total
    number of enrollees per grade level.
    3. Each team will perform to any dance music with a maximum time limit of 5 minutes
    including their entrance and exit. Deductions will be made in excess of the time limit based on
    the agreement below:
    3-4 seconds : 1 point deduction
    5-6 seconds : 2 points deduction
    7-9 seconds : 3 points deduction
    10-12 seconds : 4 points deduction
    13 seconds and above : 5 points deduction
    4.The dance number must have the accompaniment of either a modern, hiphop, and lively
    music. Remix or one music is acceptable. Each team must submit their music before the start
    of the show.
    5. Dance movements should only be aerobics or simple dance steps. Gymnastic movements
    (such as split, bending, tumbling, cartwheel and the like) are strictly prohibited.
    6. Props and costumes should depict the year level/team they are representing. Huge and
    heavy props is strongly discouraged.
    7. Strictly no pyrotechnics are allowed (like fire and any hazardous materials) that could
    harm the performers and the audience and that can disrupt the performance.
    8. No private or outside trainers should be allowed.
    9. Any team proven to any violation will automatically be disqualified.
    10. The decision of the board of judges is final and irrevocable.

    CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

    1. Concept (Thematic Interpretation, Clarity of Steps/Actions) : 20%


    2. Choreography (Creativity and artistry of movements, formation and transition, appropriateness of
    movements) : 30%
    3. Performance (Execution, Mastery, Synchronization, Energy and Projection) : 30%
    4. Visual Aesthetics and Music (Props and Costume, Musicality) : 10%
    5. Attendance (No. of performers/Total no. of enrollees per year level/10%) : 10%

    TOTAL: 100%
