Working on the Open Reach network Installing and repairing Fibre and Copper

• Full home Fibre installation from DP / Node via Overhead or PIA.


• Installing customer ONT and all associated wiring.
• Splicing Fibre connection at customer service point.
• Fibre to the cab customer self installs, jumpering between Copper and Fibre exchange.
• Fibre to the cab customer managed installs, jumpering between Copper and Fibre exchange,
attending customer property and replacing Mastersocket as required, connecting customer Modem
and devices as required.

Fibre Installation Engineer
Installation and repairing Fibre to customer premises, using overhead and underground air-blown Fibre

• Full home installation from ASN / PN via overhead cabling, rodding through subducting PIA or burying
conduit and air blowing from the Customer-Service-Point to Tobybox.
• Re-attending Properties to identify and resolve faults.
• Managing own work loads to ensure all KPIs are met.
