    The Red Alarm Symbol will illuminate under two conditions: if high or low pressure switches are off for over 10 minutes or off 5 times in 10 minutes, flashing on and off. In both cases, the unit will switch to Ventilation mode. The Yellow Alarm Symbol will illuminate if there are temperature sensor failures. To restart the unit if an alarm occurs, press the ON/OFF key twice to switch the unit off and then on again. If the alarm reoccurs, do not restart and contact a dealer for service.

    Operator’s
    The Red Alarm Symbol will illuminate in the following two
    conditions:
    • high or low pressure switches are off longer than 10 minutes
    • high or low pressure switches are off 5 times per 10 minutes

    In both cases, the unit will switch to the Ventilation mode.
    The Yellow Alarm Symbol will illuminate in case of temperature
    sensors failure.
    To restart the unit, press twice the key ON/OFF (1) to switch OFF
    and ON the unit.

    ATTENTION: If the alarm comes up again, don’t


    restart and see your nearest dealer for service.

    CAUTION: The unit can automatically start and run


    anytime the ignition key is in the ON or OFF position.
    No matter if the ON/OFF switch is ON or OFF
    (depends on setup program). BEA113

    Operating Instructions
    Turn the system ON by pressing key ON/OFF (1).
    Use the keys MODE (3), SPEED (4) and AIR MODE (5) to adjust
    the system. By pressing the selection key you select one of the
    options in the same group.
    AFT32 Use the key DISPLAY (2) to set the display mode.
    ON/OFF DISPLAY MODE SPEED AIR MODE THERMOSTAT In Auto Mode all functions are controlled by the ClimaAIRE II
    (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) controller automatically according to the required setpoint.
    Turn the system OFF by pressing key ON/OFF (1).

    Control Panel Descriptions

    (1) ON/OFF KEY (5) FRESH OR RECIRCULATED AIR SELECTION KEY


    To turn the unit ON, press the key. The display will show Automatic: Fresh air is automatically controlled in passenger
    inside temperature. compartment.
    To turn the unit OFF, press the key again. Fresh Air damper is open.
    (2) DISPLAY SELECTION KEY Fresh Air damper is open at 50%.
    The inside temperature in Zone 1 is displayed. Recirculated Air: Fresh air damper is closed.
    The inside temperature in Zone 2 is displayed.
    (6) THERMOSTAT
    The Ambient air temperature is displayed. To cool the passenger compartment, turn the knob to the

    (3) COOL / HEAT MODE SELECTION KEY Display will show adjusted setpoint.
    The inside temperature range is 17 - 27 C (63 - 80 F).
    Reheat / Auto Mode: The unit will cool or heat the bus
    automatically (according to thermostat requirements).
    A/C Mode: The unit will operate in cool mode.

    Heat Mode: The unit will operate in heat mode.

    Ventilation Mode: Only the blowers are operating.

    (4) BLOWER SPEED SELECTION KEY


    Automatic Blower Speed: The blowers are controlled
    automatically depending on the thermostat setpoint and
    passenger compartment conditions.
    High Blower Speed.
    Medium Blower Speed.
    Low Blower Speed.
