laswegian singer/songwriter/ it’s fair to assume his success is likely to
guitarist Gerry Cinnamon continue. Here we’re looking at one of
might just be the biggest Gerry’s best known songs, Sometimes,
British sensation you’ve never which features on his 2017 debut
heard of. His rise has been more of album, Erratic Cinematic. You only need
a grassroots word of mouth process, two chords to play the song, and,
quickly plying his trade in sold out because Sometimes was recorded with
stadiums and wowing festival crowds a capo on the 2nd fret, you’ll be using
with his brand of busker-style but easy open C and G shapes. If you’re
brutally frank acoustic anthems. a beginner, this is perfect for you, and
And with his second album The Bonny we’ve spiced things up for experienced
94 hitting the top spot of the UK charts, players with a tab of the solo.

Remember that the fret numbers relate to the capo as a new nut, so the opening note starts on your guitar’s actual 9th fret (i.e., seven frets higher than the capo).
Fret the high notes using your third fretting hand finger, keeping your first finger ready for those fretted hammer-ons and pull-offs on the third string.
