Preface
It gives us a great pleasure to introduce the Revised Edition of JECA

Book for MCA Entrance following the New Revised Syllabus (on
Computer Applications) as given by West Bengal Joint Entrance Board.
The book consists of 10 chapters related to Computer Applications
only. In each chapter, dedicated discussions on the contents of the
chapter are presented with supporting examples and exercises (all in
MCQ mode). It is in consistent with the Pattern of Question Paper of
JECA. At the end of the Book two Practice Sets (with answers and
hints) are presented with 100 MCQ each. In total 1000 MCQ are given
in the book with answers and discussions. It will help the students to
get through their JECA and other similar competitive examinations
and at the same time will arouse greater intellectual curiosity in them.
Any healthy comments and suggestions for the improvement of this
book from the students as well as from teachers will be heartily and
gratefully acknowledged.

Constructors, Pointers to classes, Overloading Operators, Keyboard ‘this’,

Specialization, Namespace, Friendship (Friend Functions & Friend
Classes), Inheritance, Polymorphism, Virtual Members, Abstract base
class.

on Basic Computer Application with following structure:
