Since its inception Uolo has raised over $20m from top tier investors and acquired
6500+ schools and 2.5 mn students on its platform.

In Jan 2022, Uolo launched a coding program for schools which is aligned with
NEP-2020. The program has seen tremendous response from schools. We started
from Karnataka and have 100+ paid schools.

The program offers a integrated curriculum comprising of a textbook and cloud


based interface to teach students block programing and coding in Python. This
program replaces the existing computer science books in schools by publishers like
KIPS, Pearson etc.

We are looking for Area Manager/ Sr Area Manager, who will work closely with core
team to expand the business. It would be an individual contributor role for Area
Manager and a team handling role for Sr AM.
About the role
Responsibilities
● Develop and execute strategies to drive Uolo’s integrated coding program in new and existing
markets
● Lead, motivate, and develop a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
● Constantly monitor the KPIs to track the target achievement. Take initiatives whenever the
team is lagging behind
● Ensure that the team leads are working towards their KPIs to achieve daily, weekly and monthly
productivity of the team
● Build a strong sales pipeline and achieve sales targets while also monitoring key metrics -
number of outreaches, proposals sent and final conversion
● Plan approaches and pitches for schools
● Develop channel partners for expanding Uolo’s footprint across India

Requirements
● Overall at least 5 years of experience in sales of curricular books to schools
● Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed teams
