1. INTRODUCTION

Objectives of the plan

To be a reference tool for the actions required immediately following an incident or emergency that
threatens to disrupt normal business operations.

This plan will help staff to:

What is required will vary and depend on circumstance but could set out the minimum required or
an approval procedure that must be followed (e.g., approved by senior management) for certain
types of communication.

draft press releases, emails or social media posts in advance.
