EXOCENTRIC constructions (5 examples each) and state the syntactic level to
which the examples belong

- Conjunctive- as you wish, since it’s your birthday, sweet but deadly, although it was
snowing, both sweet and sour,
Connective: is an actor, appears downtrodden, is a huge loss, was interested in astrology,
became famous,
Predicative: all genders are equal, off they go, He got there in one piece, he bought a coat
and gave it to her, Knowledge kills
