    LESSON GUIDE TEMPLATE FOR LIMITED FACE TO FACE CLASSES

    Subject/Grade Level/Date MUSIC- GRADE V- April 29, 2022

    Competency (MELCs): Demonstrates understanding of concepts pertaining to speed/flow


    of music.
    Objectives: a. Define the meaning of tempo based on examples given;
    b. Perform a song using the different tempos of largo and presto.
    c. Tell the importance on how to take care of our ears.
    Subject Matter: TEMPO

    Activities: A. Preliminary Activity:

    Balik-Aralin The pupils will sing a song entitled “Row Row Row
    your Boat”. Group the pupils into two, the first group will sing in
    a piano/soft dynamic and the other group will sing forte/ loud
    dynamic.
    Pangganyak: Video Presentation of different animals

    B. Lesson Proper:

    The teacher will discuss TEMPO and its type and


    present an example of each type.
    TEMPO - is the SPEED of the song.
    It can be fast, it can be slow.
    Variations in Tempo:
    Largo Moderato
    Presto Allegro
    Andante Vivace
    Ritardano Accelerando

    C. Culminating Activity:
    A. “Flash Card Raise

    The teacher will play music, and then let the students identify the
    tempo of the song.

    Assessment: Direction: Identify the tempo of the song beingplayed.


    Write PRESTO or LARGO on your paper.
    1. Tanging Yaman
    2. Fly High Butterfly
    3. Leron Leron Sinta
    4. Sit Siritsit
    5. Tulag anay
    Assignment: Direction: On your assignment notebook
    List 5 songs for LARGO and another 5 songs for PRESTO.
