3. Safety first
• Always check and make sure that the tool is in a good condition and suitable for the job to be carried out (condition of the
housing, wires,…).
• When installing the iiTrak on a machine that is under voltage, always install sensors with electrical insulated gloves (PN
2908 0155 00) and eye/facial protection.
• For current measurement of a compressor, install the iiTrak logger inside the compressor. Close the compressor electrical
cubicle door in order to prevent unauthorized persons gain access to the electrical compartment.
• If the iiTrak logger is used outside a compressor (e.g. for logging any 4-20mA sensor), make sure the logger is installed in
a safe place, with wires properly strapped in order to avoid tripping hazard.
• Always follow the safety regulations and wear protective clothing according to local legislation.
4. Specifications
7. Click Next.
8. If you are sure that the data on the CF card are no longer needed, click Yes.
9. Take the CF card from the card reader and keep it ready to be inserted into the iiTrak logger.
10. When the counter reaches 00, insert the card into the iiTrak CF slot.
You will see that the led underneath the CF card will start flashing to indicate that logging has started.
The logged data will now carry a time stamp that is referenced to the clock of your PC.
If you use more than one logging device (another iiTrak or VipSens), the data logged by these devices will carry a time
stamp that has the same reference.
It is extremely important that this is done correctly, so that simultaneous events logged by different devices are also
shown as simultaneous in ME Box Configurator.
Never use different PC’s to configure devices that will be used in one ME Box configuration, as they will carry time stamps
with a (slightly) different reference, which will cause a time shift, making it very difficult to analyse the measured data and
interpret the (simultaneous) events.
Never adjust the clock of your PC in between two configurations of tools that will be used in one configuration. Also this will
cause a time shift
The LED will stop flashing to indicate that the logging has stopped.
2. Take the CF card out of the iiTrak and insert it in your PC’s internal or external card reader.
If the iiTrak is connected to a compressor, it will show the current and also the status of the compressor that is linked to it.
This is used to define the unload and load levels, based on the current of the compressor.
If a measuring device was connected to the iiTrak, also these measured data will be shown in this window pane.
