The proponents of this project are the Group 2 of CWTS. This comprises college
the critical interplay between environmental cleanliness and the well-being of Barangay Duhat,
Santa Cruz. This project is multifaceted, encompassing the imperative to safeguard community
health by reducing the risk of diseases associated with unclean surroundings. In alignment with
global sustainability goals, the project addresses the need for responsible environmental
climate change mitigation. By engaging NSTP students in community service, the initiative
seeks to educate and instill a sense of civic responsibility, fostering a collective commitment
aspiring to cultivate daily habits such as litter picking and recycling that can positively impact
the community's cleanliness culture. As an embodiment of civic engagement, the project not
only seeks immediate cleanliness improvements but also aims to create a visually appealing
and recreational environment that instills community pride. Overall, the "Ambag sa Malinis na
Kapaligiran" lies in the conviction that a clean and sustainable environment is foundational for
Barangay Duhat, Santa Cruz from its streets to its residents and promote a sense of
community.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

Service Training Program Law (NSTP Law), this course introduces students to the

CWTS students of STI College Santa Cruz have gotten the bigger picture for
making this cleaning drive possible. Unbeknown to most residents and people of
Barangay Duhat Santa Cruz, Laguna, they are neglecting the cleanliness of the streets
With the clean drive, the students enrolled in CWTS NSTP would do it for 3 days
for the barangay, making the streets cleaner and more pleasant.
These possible benefits of the project, a bonus benefit would be the promotion of
cleanliness and tidiness to many people, possibly encouraging them to take better care
of their surroundings and their neighborhood. This alone would be beneficial in the
long run, as it can be passed down and learned easily by observers and children, not
necessarily doing clean-up drives, but in the general sense, where it starts at home.
D. COVERAGE
This program is to help address the concerns within the community, specifically
issues related to cleanliness. This project can help the people in our chosen barangay
to be responsible with their teamwork to improve their barangay and to enhance their
social responsibility and progress. Due to not being clean in Sitio Matahimik, there's a
lot of garbage around the road, so the NSTP students clean up the clutter to reduce it.
Next is the Sitio Bagong Lipunan, which has a pile of dry leaves and garbage near the
road. NSTP students clean it to look good, and there is no pile again. Lastly, the Sitio
Maunlad is the court and playground that need to be cleaned, especially for the kids
that will play here; they can see the cleanliness. It was decided that students who
enrolled in CWTS NSTP will be taught to help, but not only the students of STI Santa
Cruz who volunteer to clean but also the residents of the Barangay Duhat to make their
work easier because NSTP students prove the cleaning to three included streets, which
are Sitio Matahimik, Bagong Lipunan, and Maunlad. The clutter around the road is
clean, and we're adding to the community the "Ambag Sa Malinis Na Kapaligiran,"
which they need to follow for their barangay to help them by maintaining the
cleanliness and avoiding piles of garbage or dry leaves that can cause dengue. The
cleaning project will be done here, but only in the area of Barangay Duhat Santa Cruz.
As shown here, cleanliness is important, especially in areas that have piles of garbage.
Reduce them to maintain cleanliness. So, the results of the cleaning project will be
worth it, and the residents who live here in Barangay Duhat and the people who visit
here will like the cleanliness of the place, and they can't see the pieces of clutter because
the residents here are maintaining the cleanliness. So in short, a community of "Ambag
