TECHNICAL MEETING
❖ Pairing Software: Swiss Manager.
❖ System of Play: 9 Rounds (Swiss - System)
❖ Time Control: 30 Minutes each + 30 Sec Increment From 1st Move
❖ Default Time: 15 Minutes, (1st Round full time ie 30 mins)
❖ Tie Break:
1) Buchholz Cut 1. 2) Buchholz All. 3) Sonneborn - Berger. 4) Direct Encounter
5) Greater number of wins Including forfeits. 6) Number wins with Black pieces.
❖ Category Prizes: U13 – Born between 2011-2013, U10 - Born between 2014-2015, U-8 -–
Born after 1-1-2016
❖ Electronic Device:
As per AICF’s Guidelines All electronic items including wrist watches (all types
of watches)are not allowed in the tournament hall. If found during the game on
person, player shall lose that game.
❖ Fair Play Regulations: FIDE Fair Play Regulations will be in force and players are
obliged to respect the rules.
❖ If any player found concealing his identity (concealing rating/playing with a
different name) the player concerned will be expelled from the event without any
further notice.
❖ Protest:
Protest, If any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing with
a protest fee of ₹ 1000/- within 15 minutes of the occurrence of the incident, the protest fee
shall be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
Important Guidelines
❖ Players are requested to inform Chief Arbiter, if there are any corrections in
“Name / FIDE_ID / Rating / DOB / Type / Gender”
❖ Women/Female players please check the letter ‘ F ’ in gender column.
❖ All age category players Shall check their category in Type Column.
❖ For New Players, no changes will be entertained after the start of 3rd round, as the data has
to be sent to AICF for creating FIDE ID’s.
❖ “Both players have to submit the results.”
❖ Cash Prizes: Cash prizes will not be shared. A player is eligible for one higher prize
only.
