Chapter 1
As students across the globe head back to school, one topic that often comes up is the
use of school uniforms. While some schools require their students to wear uniforms, others
do not. This has led to a debate about the effectiveness of school uniforms in improving
academic performance, reducing bullying, and promoting equality among students. In this
research, we will explore the benefits and drawbacks of school uniforms and examine the
impact they have on students, parents, and educators.
Proponents of school uniforms argue that they promote a sense of unity and pride
among students, as well as creating a sense of equality by removing visible markers of
social status. Additionally, school uniforms can help reduce the amount of time and money
spent on choosing clothing for school, as well as reducing peer pressure to conform to
certain fashion trends. On the other hand, opponents of school uniforms argue that they
restrict students' freedom of expression and can be costly for families already struggling to
make ends meet. In this research, we will examine both sides of the debate and consider
the evidence for and against the use of school uniforms in schools.
School uniform policies are mainly associated both public and private schools, but having their
use in public schools to mitigate and maintain a student's behavior is quite interrogative, and
despite the issuance of the department office, Trace Martires National High School Conchu Annex
(TMCNHS-Conchu Annex) the only Secondary Public School known in 'Barangay Conchu' still
prescribe the requirements of school uniform mainly for these reasons. 1.) Security Policies, 2.)
Easier Identification of students. With the increasing numbers of school problems like vandalism,
bullying and violence, we claim that a school uniform policy can lessen the said problems.
By wearing a uniform, students feel a sense of cohesion, and it levels the playing field because
everyone wears the same clothing every day. This creates a greater sense of equality, and any
expectations on what to wear are removed. Students from different backgrounds start from the same
point, and without uniforms, children from less privileged families may feel isolated if their parents
cannot afford the latest styles of clothing. Implementing a dress code at schools can effectively eliminate
complex issues arising from modesty concerns, offensive symbols, and text on clothing.
Our school, just like any school, has a mixed level of adherence to the uniform policy, with some
students not wearing it at all. Some students violate the dress code by wearing 'crop tops', 'jeans', or any
attire that could create a negative perception of our institution. Assessing and surveilling students' attire
can help this research produce a way to maintain safe and distraction-free learning distractions.
Objectives :
education by providing answers for school administrators and students to understand both sides of the
issue regarding school uniforms.
2.) The implementation of this initiative has the potential to generate a significant positive impact on
individuals to have a friendly-effective environment in our school.
3.) Explore the pros and cons of school uniforms and their impact on students encircling this school.
It will benefit such as like us to look clean and sophisticated. In every school, a school uniform is a
must for every student, it acts as component in learning competencies of students, it is reasonable to be
implemented along with the rules and regulations of your school. The school uniforms indirectly
illustrate the youth of every student as they go on learning more.
