4 students of our Vidyalaya took part in VES Interschool Carrom Tournament and selected
runners-up.
On 20.06.23, International yoga day celebration, our PET Sri Saravanan ji and Sri
Ramakrishnan ji visited neighbouring schools to motivate the importance of yoga,
21.06.2023
On International Yoga Day we celebrated in our school premises at 7.00 a.m.in a grand
manner.
The guests of honour of the day were Shri. Hariprasad, Industrialist and Shri. Ravishankar ji,
Auditor. Children performed yoga on the stage. Teachers and people from the
neighbourhood performed the following asanas.
1. Pranayama
2. Thalasana
3. Vrikshasana
4. Padhahasthasana
5. Arthachakrasana
6. Pachimothasana
7. Vajrasana
8. Ardhauchasana
9. Sashangasana
10. Suhasana
Totally 6010 people took part in the International Day of Yoga.
On 26.06.23, VES International yogasana competition was held at Vivekananda Vidyala,

Korattur, 14 students took part in it.
14 students participated in VES Interschool Yogasana Competition which held at VV,

Korattur.
VES Interschool Silambam Tournament was held at VW, Chromepet. Our Student
G.Kavinaya of VII B secured Bronze Medal.
30.06.2023 VES Interschool Throwball & Volleyball Tournament was held at W, Vyasarpadi
in which 35 of our staff participated.
05.07.2023 Our students participated in VES Inter School Kho Kho Tournament at VV, MNT,
accompanied the students.
07.07.23 Our students participated in VES Inter school Kabadi Tournament at VV, Panjetty.
147.23 Our student Gowtham J of X °C won bronze medal in High Jump at Kishore level in
VES
Inter school sports event, held at VW Korattur 15.7.230ur students participated in VES Inter
school Athletic events at VV, MNT. Our teachers Sri.
Saravana Kumar, Kum. Sathya accompanied the students.
21.07.2023 VES SPORTS MEET INAUGURATION was held at W, MNT Our Correspondent
Sri Ramanathan ji, Asst. Correspondent, Sri Vishnushankar ji, Our Principal Smt. N.
Sharmila ji, our PETS, and other staff Smt. D. Umamageshwari Smt. G. Vanitha, Sri.5.
Munusamy and Smt. K. Nalini attended the Inauguration.
22.07.2023 VES SPORTS MEET STAFF INDIVIDUAL EVENTS were held at VV MNT.
Our staff took part in various events. In that (1) Sri. R. Sobikandan secured 2nd place in
Long Jump for men 40. (4) Kum. K. Bhuvaneswari secured 2nd place in Running for women
<40. (I) Saranya of IX B secured 3rd place in 3 km fast walk.
Our school was given the honour of Retreat Ceremony of the sports flag wherein the
students did it enthusiastically.
8.8.23 Our PETS Sri. Saravana Kumar and Sri. Ramakrishnan officiated to the trust school
sports meet at SRF VIVEKANANDA VIDYALAYA, Manali.
12.08.23 Sri.T.Saravana Kumar attended the sports meet to officiate the Kabaddi
tournament organized by Vidhya Bharathi, Uttar Tamilnadu at VW Ambattur
28.08.23 Our PETs Sri Saravanakumar and Sri Ramakrishnan attended the Vidya Bharathi
camp at Krishnan kandigal between 28/08/23 and 03/09/23.
2.09.23 Vaccination Camp was conducted by Primary health center for the classes I Std, V
Std and X Std. Totally 151 Students were vaccinated with the consent of the parents.
1/11/23 To mark theobservation of central vigillence aweraness week, e pledge was taken
by our staff and student.
19.12.23 Star sports Junior Kabbadi - Episode 4 Video shoot in the school Premises.
24.12.23
-Junior Kabbadi team participated in the Star sports - City level.
30.12.23
Annual Sports Day was celebrated on 30.12.23 and the Guest of Honour was Dr R.
Subramanian,
MPES, M.Phil, Ph.D. Director of Physical Education, Government Arts and Science college,
Nemelli. Shri Ramanathon Ji Correspondent, Shri Vishnu Shankar Ji. Asst Correspondent of
the vidyalaya graced the occasion. Various physical display by the students was a feast for
the eyes. Prizes from class LKG to class X were distributed. Chief quest appreciated the
students for their splendid performance and the school for the kind of training and exposure
given to them in making the student's health sound.
