1.0 General
On all locations where the Work is performed, we shall be responsible for :
1.1 ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all persons involved the performance or inspection of
the Work, including all client's personnel, visitors and designated third parties ;
1.2 taking adequate safety, prevention, health and fire-fighting measures ; and
1.3 providing appropriate safety gear and protective clothing Without prejudice to our responsibilities
as an independent contractor, we shall comply and enforce compliance on any of our
subcontractors with all environmental, health and safety laws and regulations in force and with
applicable laws, client's environmental, health and safety regulations, including those set forth in
administration instructions and elsewhere in the Agreement or as may be supplemented by
client's, in Writing, from time to time.
All documents apply to the Work and Permit to Work Systems provided by contractor, shall
complement that described in the client's Safety Regulations.
We shall comply and cause our Subcontractors to comply with all applicable security laws and
regulations including client's regulations and procedures applicable to the performance of the
Work on Site.
We shall cooperate with client on all security matters and shall promptly comply and cause our
Subcontractors to comply with any security requirements.
Such compliance shall not relieve us of our responsibility for maintaining proper security nor shall
it be construed as limiting in any manner our obligations to undertake, as required, any reasonable
action to establish and maintain secure conditions at Site.
On this basis of thinking, we establish Safety Policy here for the purpose that;
• meet the environmental change related to safety and health in the inside and outside of the
country positively.
• be born again as the first class enterprise in safety and health.
• give the first priority to safety and safety takes root as culture of company.
All the management and employee shall be in full knowledge of following safety policy and shall
abide by the policy.

2.1 Fully understand that safety is main factor of management be aware and abide by the laws and
regulations related to safety and health basically, and always act on the principle of safety first.
2.2 Excavate all the dangerous and detrimental items during process and at work place, and take
preventive and improving action to make comfortable working environment.
2.3 Establish self-regulating safety control system and promote industrial disaster preventive action in
all sites.
2.4 Carry out education and training in order to rising safety consciousness, and all the management
and employ should take part in spontaneously.
2.5 Establish effective communication system, and improve safety and health management system
continuously.
3.1 General
3.1.1 Every day, morning meeting shall be held prior to commencement of work.
The morning meeting shall contain daily safety education/training in which the possibility of
safety disaster involved in today's works shall be re-identified and pointed out.
Daily safety education/training shall be carried out by chief safety manager or safety manager
and the educated/trained items shall be summarized and recorded in daily safety check report.
3.1.2 The safety devices shall be checked and assured prior to use, during using and after use.
3.1.3 The working area shall be regulated and arranged in order, and the articles not in use shall be
disposed.
3.1.4 During heating operation, portable fire-extinguishers shall be provided in working area, and
watcher shall be in position.
3.1.5 Drinking in daily work time and smoking during working shall be prohibited.
Smoking is allowed only in rest time and designated place.

3.2.3 Gloves
• Put on gloves if necessary.
• In case of operating electric switches, rubber coated gloves are desirable.
3.2.6 Earplug
• When working in a noisy area, put on earplugs.
3.2.7 Goggles
• If necessary such as during grinding or heat-insulating or etc, put on eye protecting goggles.
3.3.2 If instructed of safety net installation by safety manager or other personnel related to safety
control of our company or client, it shall be followed instantly.
3.3.3 Assure if the installation status of rope earrings, knob pieces for safety net installation is perfect.

3.3.5 All articles shall be regulated and arranged on the working deck, and shall be disposed if not in
use.
3.4.2 Install power breakers such as NFB's or ELB's for main power necessarily.
3.4.3 Check primary and secondary electric cables for damage, connected status, taped and insulated
status and etc.
3.4.5 Check heater pads if there is any damage of core wire, connectors, ceramic insulators.
3.4.8 Prior to power on, enclose hazard area with rope, or etc., and attach notice of "danger" or "on-
working".
3.4.9 During on-power, portable fire-extinguishers shall be provided, and a watcher shall be in
position.
3.4.10 When disassemble cables after operation, once more check cables if damaged.
3.4.11 When uninstall heat-insulations, be careful not to fly dust as far as possible.
3.4.12 After completeness of operation, assure the main power switch and heat-treatment
equipment turned off.
3.5.2 No fire or flame shall be used within gas bottle storage or installation area.
3.5.3 Gas bottles shall be fixed firmly by supporting devices, or etc. in order not to fall down.
3.5.4 The gas outlet of bottle shall be free from oils, dust or etc.

3.5.5 Check pipes, hoses and their connections if any damage, defect or leakage exists.
3.5.8 Check route of gas hoses if the route are safe and protected from personnel, machinery, etc.
3.5.9 During heating operation, enclose hazard area with rope, or etc., and attach notice of "danger"
or "on-working".
3.5.10 During gas using period, portable fire extinguisher shall be provided and a watcher shall be in
position.
3.5.11 Soap water shall be provided in working area and shall check gas leakage in connections prior
to and during heating.
3.5.12 After completion of operation, close the valves in gas bottle and gas equipments certainly.
4.1.2 Daily safety check report shall be approved by chief safety manager and, if required, by client.
4.1.3 When checking safety status, the articles described in Argos-QI-001, " Occupational Safety and
Health Procedure" shall be included.
4.2.2 Safety education report shall be prepared by the instructor and approved by chief safety
manager.

5.3 Introduce and/or educate the contents in safety publicity documents/books, such as cases of safety
disaster, etc., through safety education.
6.1.2 Clean the work areas and dispose the wastes, debris and surplus once a week.
6.1.3 Clean the work areas and dispose the wastes, debris and surplus, and industrial wastes
classified by law once a month.
6.1.2 All wastes which are classified as industrial wastes by law shall be separately collected from
other common wastes and disposed with legal procedure and method.
