b. Value the importance if learning the cultural significance and historical roots of
Philippine folk dances.
c. Listen perceptively and perform the nature of the Philippine folk dance Tiklos.

Activity 1: Tiklos Dance Workshop
Materials - Traditional Filipino music, dance space
Significance - To practice and refine the fundamental steps of tiklos for a
performance.
Instructions -
1) Follow the instructor's demonstration of the basic tiklos steps.
2) Practice the sequence in pairs or small groups.
3) Perform the complete tiklos dance routine with music.

- Execution of steps - 15 pts.
- Coordination with partner/group - 10 pts.
- Expression and enthusiasm - 10 pts.
