    ABOUT YOURSELF

    1.My name is dima. Im 18. I was born in Khmilnyk. I finished school with good marks and entered the
    university on the budget. All my life I do sports . At the university I try study good to become a great
    captain.

    2. Im a physically and psychologically hardy and ready for any hard work. And i quickly adapt to new
    conditions.

    3. I think, my strengths are self-development, hard work and never give up. As for my weaknesses at first it
    will be difficult to understand English speakers and adapt to new in a new home.

    4. Because it’s a beautiful and more interesting job than other. In this job I can improve skills which I like
    and that I will need in my life.

    5. In my plane I want work in Columbia until I realize that I have saved enough money to live on or until I
    am sent to retirement.

    6. In my group are many people and all they are different. But we are family and help each other always.

    7. I want to be a Captain as soon as possible and so in my plans in 8-10 years.

    8. A seafarer is a person who specializes in ships. He has a great baggage of knowledge, and he has such
    qualities as responsibility, discipline, courage and daring.

    What influenced your choice to become a seaman?

    9. From childhood I dreamt to become a seaman. And my uncle work as a sailor and he confirmed my
    childhood dreams that it is a cool job.

    10. of course the pros are many such as : big cash, opportunity travel around the world, sharing knowledge
    and meeting new people, and the bes chance to learn perfect English. I think is a 1 cons in this profession, is
    that you will not see your family, your friends for a long time .
    11.As I said, I quickly adapt to new conditions, so there will be no problems on board, and even if there are,
    I will quickly solve them.

    12. my favourite subject is a philosophy, navigation and control, English and of course physical culture
    without this subject to nowhere.

    MY FAMILY

    13. my father is builder, i worked with him, and i understand thats really hard work, and after these i
    understand exactly that I want to be a seaman. my mother is a nurse practitioner, she always help me in
    difficult time, and for this and for all she doing for me, i want say thank you.

    14. I learn English, because I want speaking with my team on free English and its fine to know other
    language besides Ukrainian. And I enjoy to learn English.

    15. I don't have a girl. and inbmy plane her will be next near 5 year. or until I became captain.

    ABOUT YOURSELF

    16. I go to the gym 3 times in a week. and i like reading the book. and of course learn English to improve my
    skills.

    17. I know many world cuisine for example : Japanese, Italian, Georgian and our traditional Ukrainian
    cuisine. but many cuisine I don't have eaten.

    18.I want to taste Chinese cuisine. I like their cuisine and their culture, infrastructure and literature. And as
    they say, we need to try everything in this world.
