fluids.

 Proficiency in conducting RIA, ELISA, HORMONES, infertility tests, Sperm

wash coagulation profiles, blood gas and allergy tests etc.

 Performed blood group, type and compatibility tests for transfusion

purposes.
 Work includes a variety of duties involving different processes and
methods, e.g., collecting and controlling reagents, calibrating or
standardizing and implementing new procedures, taking decisions depend
upon analysis and evaluation of collection techniques and conditions,
specimen characteristics, adequacies of reagents and instrument
performance

 Performed assays in hematology, chemistry and bacteriology, and gained

in depth experience of hematology, coagulation, blood bank, biochemistry
clinical pathology and transfusion medicine.

 Worked on fully automated particle cell Counter, Auto analyzer and Blood
gas analyzer.
 CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGICAL LABORATORY

 Experience working with pathogenic bacteria conducting clinical

microbiological investigations on medical specimens (urine, stool, blood,
respiratory, genital and wounds and fluids)

 Pathogen isolation and identification (including tube biochemical methods,

ELISA and kit biochemical methods, fluorescence antibody detection, latex
agglutination, etc.)

 Susceptibility testing (automated Micro Scan and manual Kirby-Bauer

methods), anaerobe identification, mycology, parasitology, Legionella and
B. pertussis identification and numerous stains and slide preparations
including Gram stain, KOH, wet preps and (modified) acid-fast stains.

 Lymphocyte separation from whole blood, lymph nodes and spleen

specimens for cell suspension, viability testing, class I and class II HLA
(Human Lymphocyte Antigen) typing, cross matches for kidney, heart,
lung and bone marrow transplant patients, and cytotoxic anti-HLA
antibody screening and identification, by complement-dependent
cytotoxicity methods.
 Vigorously explored the correlation of HLA polypeptide sequence with
serologic reactivity for enhanced resolution of antibody specificity to
expand the pool of (1) compatible organ donors for pre-sensitized
recipients and (2) compatible platelets from typed donors for transfusion to
refractory patients.

 CLINICAL CHEMISTRY LABORATORY

 Performed routine clinical chemistry testing on such automated analyzers

as the Paramax, CX3, CX7, TDx, FLx, the ICS Array, and the Nova 4 + 4.

 Specialized testing included various assays by radioimmunoassay (RIA).
