    Questions:
    1. Explain the relationship between electromagnetic waves and optics. Mention Maxwell's
    equations in optics! (Score : 20)
    2. The schematic below is a representation of geometrical optics, explain each path that is
    in the schematic flow! (score : 30)

    3. A composite lens consists of a positive and a negative lens that is 20 cm apart. f1=+40 cm
    ; f2 = -40 cm. Determine the location of the focal point of the object and image from this
    combined lens! Count f combined and f ‘ combined! (score : 30)
    4. Draw a picture of the process of forming an image on the lens and mirror! Then
    determine the nature of the image! (score :20)
