Key Concepts/ Tempo – refers to the rate of speed in a composition. It May be fast or slow.
Understandings to be Andante -moderately slow / walking pace
Developed: Adagio – slow, or in an easy graceful manner
Lento – slow
Largo – very slow, broad
Allegro – fast, a lively, brisk, and fast tempo
Moderato – moderate Ritardando (rit) – gradual change to a slower tempo
Vivace – quick, lively Accelerando (accel) – gradual change to faster tempo
Presto – a very fast tempo

4.1.Introductory Activity( Singing the “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” using the alternate tempo of adagio and allegro.

1. The leader or a representative of each group has to pickup 2 rolls of paper. Each roll has a kind

minutes and a maximum time of 4 minutes during their presentation.
3. The class is given 10 minutes to prepare.
