NOTICE INVITING TENDER (NIT)

1.1.1 Name of Work:

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) invites online open e-tenders from
eligible applicants, who fulfill qualification criteria as stipulated in Clause 1.1.3 of NIT, for the work
MMRDA/Metro-PIU/2024/CA-207: Depot land development works and
Construction of Depot Infrastructures Comprising Stabling Yard, Operation Control Centre,
Depot Control Centre, Administrative Building, Maintenance and Inspection buildings,
Auxiliary substation, Road, underground utility duct, Drainage System and Rainwater
Harvesting etc. complete (including Architectural Finishing ,Plumbing and PEB Works) for
CAR Depot at Dongri for Metro Line- 9 of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA.
The brief scope of the work is provided in Clause A1 of ITT (Volume-

Requirement (Volume-3).
1.1.2 Key details:
Approximate cost of work INR 626.69 Crore Plus GST as applicable.

1.1.3.1 Eligible Applicants:

i. The tenders for this contract will be considered only from those tenderers (proprietorship
firms, partnerships firms, companies, corporations, consortia or joint ventures) who meet
requisite eligibility criteria prescribed in the sub-clauses of Clause 1.1.3 of NIT. In the case
of a JV or Consortium, all members of the Group shall be jointly and severally liable for the
performance of whole Contract.
ii. (a) The bidder shall satisfy the following conditions:
(i) There should not be more than three participants in case of JV or Consortium.
(ii) Lead partner shall have a minimum participation of 40%.
(iii) A non-Indian firm is permitted to tender only in a joint venture or consortium
arrangement with any other Indian firm having minimum participation interest of 26%
or their wholly owned Indian subsidiary registered in India under Companies Act-
1956 with minimum 26% participation.
(iv) A Foreign Company registered under relevant legislation in its country of origin and
having permission to carryout business in India. If the country of origin of the foreign
company shares Land border with India, such bidders shall be eligible only if they
comply with the procurement guidelines specific to the bidders as mentioned in the
directives issued by Government of India. Bidders are supposed to read the terms
and conditions carefully and comply with the same in all respects. (Refer Appendix-
25).
