Installation
Guidelines
To ensure the best performance and longevity of your roofing sheets, it is crucial
to follow these guidelines for proper installation:

To prevent water leakages, avoid placing the grove portion on the outer side as it can
create improper contact and make the roof vulnerable.

Avoid direct contact between cement or cement foundations.

Lime in cement can cause accelerated corrosion in metal fasteners.

Remove metal fillings from sawing, drilling, and other construction processes during installation
to prevent the formation of red rust on the surface of the panel.

Red rust caused by metal fillings may result in stains or discolouration on the panel surface.

Never install roof sheets during rain as they may become wet and slippery,
which can cause damage to the sheets.

Ensure that shoes worn during installation do not have small stones, steel drillings
or other debris embedded in the soles.

Prevent dirt accumulation on the sheets to maintain their appearance and functionality.

BY ADHERING TO THESE PROCEDURES, YOU CAN HELP PREVENT DAMAGE AND EXTEND

 STORAGE &

Handling
For the preservation of the Colour Coated sheets, it is crucial to store them in a dry and
well-ventilated area before their installation. Any storage method that permits water,
such as condensation, to accumulate between the sheets can lead to severe harm to
the coating, rendering it irreparable. Therefore, proper storage conditions are essential
to ensure the longevity and quality of the Colour Coated Sheets.

DOES:
To ensure proper storage, always keep the material in a dry, shaded, and
well-ventilated area. This will help prevent any damage to the material.

If the material is not needed for immediate use, be sure to provide adequate
cover to protect it from environmental elements.

In case the sheets become wet during storage, separate them immediately
and clean the moisture off the surface with a clean cloth. To allow for air
circulation, stack the sheets with gaps between them.

To protect the material from ground moisture, always keep it slightly

elevated by using a wooden or rubber plank. This will help prevent any
damage caused by ground moisture.

DON'TS:
Avoid keeping the material on a wet or muddy floor, including areas exposed
to water or rain, to prevent damage.

Prevent moisture or water penetration between the sheets through the

wooden pallets as it can cause damage.

Ensure that the packed coils are not exposed to water leaks to avoid any damage.

Whenever possible, avoid metal-on-metal contact to prevent scratches or other damages.

Keep the sheets away from contact with salt, water, corrosive chemicals, ash, fumes,
plating works, kilns, fertilizers, and wet or green lumber.

Do not slide sheets on a rough surface or over each other as it can cause scratches & damage.

PACKAGING & MATERIAL

Handling
Coils are wrapped with VCI / HDPE packed with galvanized iron sheets on OD (outer diameter)
and the side of the coils with high tensile steel strapping with a metallic seal. Eye-to-sky coils
are kept on wooden skids. Sheets are stacked on wooden crates wrapped with VCI / HDPE
material packed with galvanized iron sheets and tightened with packed bundles.

Export Packing: Steel coil in vertical form (eye to sky), horizontal coil form (eye horizontal),
and sheet form are sent in containers as cargo from the plant (please see below). These
containers are loaded, lashed, and choked in the plant based on the recommendations of the
Shipping Line, under the guidance and strict supervision of our personnel.

In accordance with Quarantine Laws, wood, such as dunnage and crates are fumigated under
the ISPM – 15 Standards with Methyl Bromide and/or is Heat Treated before being used.
Special care is exercised to ensure the entire weight of the cargo is equally distributed on the
floor of the container. This is then lashed and choked properly to withstand both road and sea
transportation.
