San Gong

Seated Moving Meditations


These are Taoist Monk Fung Do Duk's San Gong series of seated moving
meditations. These are high level and the effects are immediate and powerful!
Each seated moving meditation is short and easy to learn.

The following meditations are presented by Grandmaster Doo Wai:

01. Child Praying to the Goddess of Mercy


02. The Wind Above the Waves
03. Breeze on Top of the Trees
04. The Monk Begging for Rice
05. The Monk Serving a Cup of Wine
06. The Monk Disrobing
07. The Sparrow Returning to Her Perch

10. Eight Goddess Heavenly Form

Points to remember:
• Always keep your eyes closed and your tongue touching the roof of your
mouth during the entire meditation exercise.
• Each meditation is traditionally practiced for 108 consecutive days before
moving on to the next.
• The moving meditation portion of each meditation is repeated 18 times to
complete 1 cycle of the meditation.
• Don’t forget the full-inhale and the full-exhale after each of the breath
percentages.
• Take three full breaths to start and three full breaths to end the meditations.
01. Child Praying to the Goddess of Mercy
• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 90%
• Exhale 80%
• Exhale 40%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

02. The Wind Above the Waves


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 60%
• Exhale 50%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

03. Breeze on Top of the Trees


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 70%
• Exhale 40%
• Exhale 50%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

04. The Monk Begging for Rice


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 90%
• Exhale 50%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation
05. The Monk Serving a Cup of Wine
• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 50%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

06. The Monk Disrobing


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 50%
• Exhale 30%
• Exhale 20%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

07. The Sparrow Returning to Her Perch


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 30%
• Exhale 30%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)
• Three full breaths to end the meditation

08. Monk Gazing at the Moon


• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 60%
• Exhale 40%
• Then breathe normally while doing the movements
• Repeat 18 times (18 times = 1 Full Cycle of this Meditation)

• Three full breaths to start
• Exhale 40%
• Exhale 30%
