Lead-in
1. In Prepare you listened to a conversation about Amanda’s boss.
How does Amanda feel? What does she say about her boss?
She was down, her boss bit her head off – he criticised her
Unfairly. Amanda was sick of her boss, she felt angry and
Humiliated, she didn’t agree with her boss. She was
embarrassed

I was a TV editor and my boss was unfairly aggressive to me and my
colleagues so I left this job.
One of my bosses was really upset about our job, so he was really mad
and started to scream – that was his way of confronting the situation.
