PRESS RELEASE
PNGRB has launched the 11th CGD Bidding Round on 17th September 2021 for development of City
Gas Distribution (CGD) networks in 65 Geographical Areas (GAs) covering 208 districts (206 full and 2 part),
spread over 19 States and 1 Union Territory. Thereafter, PNGRB had issued Addendums and Corrigendum.
With these amendments, the number of districts in these 65 GAs of 11th CGD Bidding Round were increased to
215 districts (212 complete and 3 part).

2. The last date of bid submission was 15.12.2021. A total of 439 bids were received from the following
26 bidders against 61 out of 65 GAs offered:

4. 438 bids out of 439 bids received were technically accepted and the financial bid of 438 bids was opened
on 14.01.2022.

5. Based upon the bids evaluations, PNGRB in its 108th Board meeting held on 27th January 2022 approved
issuance of Letters of Intent (LoI) to the following 13 successful entities against 52 GAs:

6. As per provisions of the CGD Authorisation Regulations, authorization shall be granted to the successful
bidders after receipt of the requisite Performance Bank Guarantee from the concerned entities within specified
period of 30 days.

7. Letter of Intent to successful bidders above 52 GAs has been issued on 28.01.2022.
