INTRODUCTION
A. Background
Allah SWT created humans as the most beautiful creatures perfect
compared to other creatures. Even Allah SWT provides great trust in
humans to make the caliph in advance this earth. Not only that, Allah SWT
also subdued the sea, land and air for humans. This means that Allah SWT
gives freedom to humans to cultivate nature for the welfare of their lives.
Therefore, as a form of gratitude for everything that Allah SWT has given,
already Humans should instill in themselves an attitude of obedience and
gratitude and love for Allah SWT.
Basically, Allah SWT created humans solely to worship Him. This
has been explained in the Al-Qur'an surah adz-dzariyat, 31:56, Allah SWT
says:
“And I did not create jinn and humans except for them serve Me”.1
Based on this verse, it is clear that Allah created jinn and humans
only to serve Him. A servant's form of devotion to his Creator is by carrying
out all His commands and avoiding all His prohibitions. One form of
devotion can be realized by performing prayers. Because prayer is a form
of human obedience and love for Allah SWT, and prayer is also a means of
communication for humans to get closer to their creator, namely Allah SWT.

In the Qur'an there are many verses that tell about the power and
greatness of Allah SWT. The more humans study the Koran, the more
knowledge they have about the evidence of Allah's power.
In the Qur'an, Allah swt. tells what people should think about and
observe. By means of reflection taught in the Qur'an, someone who believes
in Allah SWT. will be able to better experience the perfection, eternal
wisdom, knowledge and power of Allah SWT. in His creation. If a believer
begins to think according to the methods taught in the Koran, he will
immediately realize that the entire universe is a sign of Allah's work of art
and power. and that the ‚universe is a work of art. Each work of art displays
the unique and distinctive skill of its creator, as well convey his messages.
In the Qur'an, humans are called to reflect on various natural events
and objects, which clearly testify to the existence and oneness of Allah SWT.
along with His attributes. In the Qur'an, everything that provides this
testimony is called "signs", which means "tested evidence, absolute
knowledge, and statements of truth."
So, signs the greatness of Allah swt. consists of everything in this
universe that shows and conveys the existence and characteristics of Allah
SWT. People who can observe and always remember this will understand
that the entire universe is composed only of signs of Allah's power.
Indeed, it is an obligation for humans to be able to see the signs of
Allah's power. In this way, the person will know the Creator who created
himself and everything else, become closer to Him, find the meaning of his
existence and life, and become a lucky person in this world and the hereafter.
Now humans have been able to realize their long-cherished desire to
penetrate the boundaries of the earth to discover the wonders and secrets of
this universe. This reality has brought humans closer to the nature behind
the creation of this world. The further he penetrated into this universe and
studied the other worlds of the Almighty Creator, the more impressed he
became with the balance and harmony he found in all aspects.
4
From his observations, he could see clearly that there were no
(contradictory) variations in the laws of nature. Everything reflects the
existence of a unity that proves the greatness and oneness of its creator. This
discovery will undoubtedly have an impact on human reasoning in its efforts
to understand the universe, understand life, and understand Allah SWT. as
its creator.
This increasing awareness will give humans greater opportunities to
study the physical forces and physical laws that operate in the universe,
thereby opening the horizons of their knowledge about nature and its
creator.
Therefore, human control over the physical world will bring him
closer to the realization that the universe and the splendor of its amazing
structure will not come into being by itself because of the will of nature
itself; its provisions and order will not be maintained without a Being that
regulates it. Conclusions like this will only be reached by those who
diligently and thoroughly study the laws and systems that operate in nature.
Allah SWT. Almighty, the power to impose sanctions, and power too
bestows mercy on whom He wills. His punishment to the enemy is harsh
even though He is Most Merciful. His love for those who obey is very broad,
even though the sanctions are very painful. He conquers anyone who wishes
to overcome Him and He ignores anyone who ignores His demands.
B. Creating the Heavens
This universe is like a house where everything is fulfilled; the sky
was raised like the roof of a house, the earth was spread like the floor, the
stars were used as decoration like lamps. These are the building blocks of
the universe. Allah SWT. has created this sky with a combination of colors
that are cool to the eye and capable refreshes eyesight.
Allah SWT. said while reminding His servants of His great power,
greater than what they were amazed at. What they declare to be an
impossible event will happen, "So don't they pay attention to the sky above
them, how We built it and decorated it. Decorating here means decorating it
5
with stars. and not having the slightest crack, meaning that there is not the
slightest crack or blemish in the creation of the sky.
In connection with the creation of the heavens, for example it is
stated, "He is Allah, who created everything on earth for you and He willed
to create the heavens, then He made/perfected the seven heavens. and He is
All-Knowing of everything."
The sentence fasawwahunna sab'a samawat (then He perfected the
seven heavens) in that verse, there are those who interpret the word
fasawwahunna as "making the beginning of the heavens smooth", there are
also those who interpret it as "making the seven heavens the same", and
there are others who interpreting‚ making the heavens balanced‛ so that they
are not destroyed. These interpretations although different; however,
everything points to the perfection of the creation of the heavens.
The process of celestial events cannot actually be separated from the
process of creation of the universe. There is one verse that is often referred
to in this context, and this does not mean ignoring other verses that refer to
the same meaning.
C. Creating Stars
In Indonesian, the word najm is interpreted as star. In the Qur'an, this
word is expressed in the singular (najm) and in the plural, nuju>m. The word
al-najm is the isim form of ينجم – نجمwhich means )طلعto appear) or )ظهرto
appear).4
Stars are celestial bodies consisting of burning gas, such as sun.5
Nebulae or clouds consist of dust and gas. The thick part of the nebula
condenses and that is what then becomes a star. With starlight, humans can
do things without being disturbed by the darkness of the night, one of which
is that the stars become signs of the direction of travel.

According to M. Quraish Shihab, the precedence of the words )ج ّمبالن
with stars) over the sentence )يهتدون همthey received guidance) aims to
emphasize and invite attention to the magnitude of Allah's blessings.
through the stars, which among other things helps them know their
direction, especially in the middle of the ocean or desert.6
Like other natural objects created by Allah SWT, stars is a natural
wealth that provides inspiration for scientists to carry out various research.
With stars, scientists also obtain various discoveries in the latest technology,
which further strengthens their professionalism as scientists.7
There are four perspectives on the story of stars in the Qur'an,
namely about the creation of stars and their groups (clusters of stars), stars
as creatures created by Allah SWT. who submit to His commands, a
reproach to humans who worship stars, and anomalous star behavior in the
events of the end of time.8
One of the purposes of stars being created is as decoration for
humans who observe them. Allah SWT. said:
Translation:
"And indeed We have created clusters of stars (in the sky) and We
have decorated the sky for those who look at (it)." (Q.S. al-Hijr/15: 16)

BAB III
CLOSING
A. Conclusion
So the conclusion from the discussion above allah’s image :
The power of Allah SWT. is limited power and unlimited power,
unattainable and unchallenged. The power of Allah SWT. is very different
from the power that exists in His creatures. This power is certainly
inseparable from the omniscient nature of Allah SWT. This universe is like
a house where everything is fulfilled; the sky was raised like the roof of a
house, the earth was spread like the floor, the stars were used as decoration
like lamps. These are the building blocks of the universe.
Allah SWT. has created this sky with a combination of colors that
are cool to the eye and able to refresh the eyesight. Next, stars are celestial
bodies consisting of burning gas, such as
sun. Nebulae or clouds consist of dust and gas. The thick part of the nebula
condenses and that is what then becomes a star.
B. Suggestion
The author hopes for criticism and suggestions from both lecturers
and friends who read this paper, because this paper is still far from
perfection. And hopefully this paper can be useful for friends or the public
