PROCESS AUTOMATION
Step: 1 Click on the Alteryx Community link below and select academy
LINK: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Community-English/ct-p/external
Step: 2 Click on SIGN UP button
Step: 3 Click on Register Here button as shown if you are a new user.
Step: 4 Enter you college / institution email ID (Domain mail ID) and click on Send Verification
Code button.
Step: 5 Enter the confirmation code as shown below and click on Verify code button
Step: 6 Fill the details

Guidelines to enter the details:

1. Enter the Username [must be unique]
2. Enter your “First Name”
3. Enter your “Last Name”
4. Enter “ Edu Skills Foundation ” under company
filed.
5. Enter the Job title as “Student”
6. Enter the Country as “India”
7. Select you country phone code
8. Enter your 10 digit phone number
9. Set password
After entering the details Click on Create button
Step: 8 Please wait until the account is created. Once completed below screen will appear
click on Academy [Notice username at top right]
Step:9 Scroll down
Step:10 Click on Learning Path
Step:11 Click on Getting started Learning Path
Step:12 Scroll down.
Step:13 Click on Full Screen and click play Button.
Step: 14 Next page on the left side under Menu tab there is 6 module to complete the in learning path.
Click on “Get Started” option it will take you to the next course within it.
Step:15 In this module there are 8 courses you have to complete All to move on next module.
Step:16 After clicking get started you will be taken to the Designer Basics course there are many tabs
inside it to move ahead ,You Have to click each tab one by one and go through it. First click on what is
data? Tab.
Step:17 Next you will be moving into the shown page below there are also two more tab click on the tab
“Decision with data”
Step: 18 Next you will be moving into a video page watch the video full and then close the tab and return
back to the getting start menu.
Step:19 Next click on What is Data? And click on next tab i.e. Defining Data. And watch the video.
Step:20 Next click on Designer Basics again and move on to next tab and repeat the same process above
mentioned and similarly way and complete all the 5 tabs.
Step:21 Once you have completed all the courses under Getting Started module. The page will look like
this
Step:22 Similarly completed all the courses under Data Preparation module. As you have done in getting
started module
Step:23 Similarly completed all the courses under Combining and cleansing Data at the end click on
“Get Certified” at the last course.

Write The Certification Exam
Step:22 You will be moving to Certification exam page scroll down
Step:23 Click on Take Exam and complete of to get the Badge of Alteryx Foundation Micro-Credential
NOTE
1) Alteryx Micro-Credential foundation exam pass percentage : 70% above
2) Don’t worry if you couldn't pass the foundation exam. After 7 days you can re-
attempt the foundation exam.
3) Exam is free of cost, hence re-attempt can be done multiple times.

4) Make sure that you pass Alteryx Micro-Credential foundation exam to procedure
further to Alteryx Designer Core
This is the mail you will get after successful completion of the exam with the result.
After passing the exam you will be getting mail as shown below. Click on Accept Badge button

Software download Process
Step: 1 Click on the link given below: https://www.alteryx.com/products/alteryx-designer
Step:2 Click on the Start Free trail button as indicated below:
Step:3 After directed to new web page scroll down.
Step:4 Click on the Start Free Trial button under Desktop Trial.
Step:5 Fill your details
Step:6 Enter the details as guided below:
1. Enter the “Email Id”

2. Enter the “Country”
3. Enter the “First name”
4. Enter the “Last name”
5. In company box enter
“Eduskills Foundation”
6. Enter your 10 digit phone number
only (NO CODEs)
7. Enter your “Function”

8. Enter Your “Role” as “student”
9. Tick mark the check box.
10. At last click on the “Submit” Button
Step:7 The software will be auto downloaded. (If not, click on the download button)
NOTE: click on the downloaded button

Step:8 Alteryx Download Manager will open as below, select the 2nd Radio Button as
shown and click “Next”
Step:9 Click On “Next” then “Accept the agreement”, click “Next” Wait until it
finshied.
Step:10 Click On “Finish” Check box must be “Tick Marked". To “run” the software.
Step:11 Next Two Widows page will open
1st page is of a welcome video of Alteryx 2nd page is starting page of Alteryx
Step:12 Click On “Next” AND Wait until “Alteryx Predictive Tools With R4.2.3(user)
Installation” finished.
Step:13 Fill the Details and register your self in the Software And Click “Register”.
Step:14 Click on “Start Solving”
The Software Is Installed Successfully .

Micro-Credential
Course Process
Step: 1 Go Back To The Marveryx Community Page Click Academy
Step:2 Scroll down
Step:3 Click on Learning Path
Step:4 Click on Getting started Learning Path
Step:5 Scroll down.
Step:6 Click on Full Screen and click Resume Button.
Step:7 Click on 3rd module left one by one and repeat the process from step 14 to 23 and reach
the last Course Designer core Prep.
Step:8 At the end page you have to click on Get Certified to move further.

Write The Certification Exam
Step:9 You will be moving to Certification exam page scroll down
Step:10 Certification exam page you have to take 4 exam in the series provided below. To get 4 badges
and 1 final badges.

1. Alteryx Designer Core exam pass percentage : 60 - 70%
above
2. Don’t worry if you couldn't pass the Designer Core exam
exam. After 7 days you can re-attempt the foundation exam
3. Exam is free of cost, hence re-attempt can be done multiple

procedure further to get the

Credentials course satisfactorily before advancing to the next
level which is Alteryx Designer Core course. Your eligibility to
obtain certification for the Alteryx Designer Core level will be
assessed upon uploading and verification of your Alteryx
Micro-Credentials course certificate on the AICTE portal.

Certification Exam
You Are Now Ready To Take The Designer Course Exam. You Have To Take A Series Of Four
Stackable Designer Core Micro Credentials, Allowing You To Focus On One Section At A Time.
And At Last One Exam For The Final Designer Core Certificate As Shown In The Picture
Step:15 After Passing The Exam You Will Be Getting Mail As Shown Below. Click On Accept Badge.
Step:16 Click On Share As Indicated.
Step:17 Click On Download Certificate Option And Download The Certificate.
The certificates you need to upload
• After successfully completing the course now it’s time to upload your course completion certificates in
the certificate upload link.
• To complete the internship you need to upload 2 course completion certificates and 1 pdf of your mark
sheet.

• After completing Alteryx Designer Core you will receive the below mark sheet.
Convert the mark sheet into PDF to

Step-1: Open the mail through which you received the mark sheet of
Designer Core or Alteryx Designer Core General Knowledge and
click on the print option.
Step 2: Save the document as PDF and upload that PDF in the
certificate upload link.

Step:6 Open The Mail ID Inbox And Check For The Below Mail. Click On
The Confirm My Mail Button.
Step:7 Enter Your Credentials And Click On Sign In.
Step:8 Click The Link: Https://Www.Credly.Com/Users/Sign_in . Enter Your Credentials And
Click On Sign In
