ROLES AND RESPO NSIBILITIES
 Inspecting site conditions before the start of construction activities.
 Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Checking for obstructions.
 Respond to and attend Inspection Requests submitted by the contractor and recommend/take appropriate actionwhere
necessary.
 Review submitted shop drawings, materials submittals, and method of statement against contract drawings and
specifications; ensure local codes and statutory requirements are adhered to and international best practice is adopted.
 Report any work executed by the contractor that is not compliant with approved specifications; inform
stakeholders where necessary.
 Monitor work and assess the HSE and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and
HSEand risk assessments.
 Apply and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for the site.
 Maintain reports for all site activities including progress reports, ensuring are readily available for inspection.
 Prepare surveillance and site observation or non-conformance reports (SOR/NCR) if required.
 Ensure effective coordination between various disciplines.
 Provide technical assistance to resolve any electrical issues that may arise.
 Making sure all existing structures, property, utilities, and landscaping are properly protected.
 Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc.
Performing all work by the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
 Reviewing materials delivered to the site for conformance with approved samples, materials, and equipment and
report findings.
 Assisting with the inspection of completed works. Helping prepare punch lists. Monitoring the start-up, testing,
commissioning, and handover of the works. Checking that materials delivered to the site are properly stored and
report discrepancies.
 Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc.
Performing all work following the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
 Observing site safety practices and the progress of the work. Reporting any concerns.
